This was a game where Adelaide had little to gain, and everything to lose.
The threadbare nature of the Richmond side, with a galaxy of stars on the sideline and a multitude of kids on the ground, meant the Crows were expected to cruise to victory.
Lose, and talkback radio would be red-hot for the next fortnight as supporters grab the pitchforks and declare a return to last year's wasted season.
It took the Crows until the last 10 minutes of the final quarter to blow the brave Tigers out of the water, running out winners by 33 points - 15.11 (101) to 9.14 (68).

Credit to the tigers. Half a VFL team in there today and still played decent. End result wasn’t a big surprise everyone knows that.

It doesn’t show the injuries in the highlights, Murphy got his 2 front teeth knocked out as well as Talia and Jenkins, who nastily rolled his ankle at the end of the game.

Richmond should stop using excuses they are only undermanned missing players in the backline , but the real problem is they are getting smashed in contested possessions and clearances in the midfield on a regular basis this is were the problem lies , also the forward line isn't very potent

If if's and but's were candy and nut's. Three weeks we've been challenged and stepped up when it was there to be won. You've been beaten fairly comfortably by a 12 to 15 North Melbourne, a top of the table Geelong who are cruise'n and a 4 to 8 Adelaide who had a rocky start but haven't been blown away yet by anyone and are grinding out hard fought games against teams having a crack.

I swear if there are any crows fans celebrating after this win it would be pretty pathetic. 17 of our players are injured and most of our premiership team isn’t playing. We put up one of the best fights ever but in the end struggled with a lack of experience. You can’t put Garthwaite (a below average backman tbh) and expect him to outmark Sloan and Jenkins or outplay Betts, that’s just asking too much. If a full manned Richmond only just won against a team full of injuries, I’d be pretty disappointed.

We aren't allowed to celebrate a win? Who's on the ground is who you play experienced or not, we have a new ruck ( ROB ) in this year and a new defender ( Keath ) in. We were three down on the bench and sure you had a crack but if I can't enjoy my team winning a game of footy became someone says so then your going about it all wrong.

Lol it’s not all about the goals though like the media makes it, the real reason he is good is all his score involvements, forward pressure and smart decision making, in my eyes he’s one of the best small forwards we’ve seen like on pace to kick almost 40+goals again this year??? It’s not like he picks when he kicks miraculous goals either just saying 👍🏽
