“To Be Loved” is the most emotional vocal performance I’ve ever heard. Easily my favorite on the album. This album is pretty different for Adele. There’s so much to take in I need more than one listen.
It's also so much more of a high note to end on, like the vindication for having processed all the emotional baggage of those before it. It breaks through to something more elated, but is shaped by the sentiments we felt from the very first song. Perfect choice for end song, I think.
All Night Parking Interlude is my fave, followed by Strangers By Nature. I'm obsessed with lo-fi and Adele did just that! What a fantastic album, her entire discography is brilliant but 30 surpasses everything else
LOVE YOUR REACTION!!! and she ended with love is a game, because in it she's saying "she's gonna play this game all over again and she's gotten better in this game with all the lessons she's learnt". absolutely in love with your reaction and obviously with the album. this is adele's BEST EVER!!!! the way i have bawled to to be loved like I'm the one who got divorced. WHAT AN ALBUM!!!!
"my little man" made me tear up. it was so vulnerable on her part and it felt like it captures the true emotions she was feeling at that moment. it was beautiful. then, "woman like me" is one of my favorites too. "to be loved" as well.
I drink wine speaks directly to my soul. Brings me so much emotions at the same time…it’s impressive how truthful the lyrics is and scary as hell how you can relate it to everything we’ve been living nowadays. To be loved kills me the same way All I ask, from 25, does.
Can I get it and Oh my god is class Apart ! I don't know why people are not talking about these tracks. You guys really need to come out of that dark place and enjoy these for once in a while.
the reason for all the voice notes in ‘my little love’ is adele’s therapist said that she should document using voice notes whenever she is feeling anxious and i guess she carried it out on the album
I can definitely see why many people feel hold on or to be loved should be the last song because it is 2 strongest songs in the album, but to end it with either of the song will be a depressing ending i think. So, Love is a game, while it may be not be as strong as the 2 songs, it gives a fitting ending to the album where it gives a sense of hope. And the classical theme of the song also resembles the 1st track “strangers by Nature”. So it sort off comes in full circle, at least in my opinion.
What's up people? Loved your reaction. I'm blown away by this CD.Adele has hit it out of the park once again.Brillant song writing and vocals that are just breath taken 👌 😍 🙌
To be loved is a hands down amazing and outstanding song! A lot of people have been comparing this song with “I will Always love you” by Whitney Houston. In which I totally see the similarities. Two amazing songs! 💛
Think "Love Is A Game" is perfect as the ending--not only sonically as it ties the movie-like, orchestral qualities of the opener, but also in terms of the lyrical content. She's saying that she's learned but still believes in loving and is ready to move on in a healed way. I think the actual last line on the album is, "I'd do it all again". So I really don't think it could have come at any other point in the album because it wouldn't fit the storyline, you know? At the point of "Hold On" she's just barely hanging on and climbing her way out and by "To Be Loved" is a coming to terms with the fact that reality cannot ever fit with how she wished for things to be ,but that's okay because she really did give it her all but it's not fully looking forward, yet. "Love is A Game" IS coming from a more joyous place but also with awareness and nostalgia because she's reflecting on everything that happened (and also the song reflects the rest of the album) from a further distanced view: time to take the joy and lessons and move on! Anyway, that's just lil me and why I think the sequencing is perfect :D
Hey TK Top Tunes, How are you? I know I haven't made any comments on these videos in a while but don't worry I will be going back to doing that. I love Adele music and her new song "Easy on Me".
I cried so much with to be loved and she said that this song "came up" in the same room and on the same piano as her song when we were young. she even released a video of one of the sessions where she sings this song, and said that she will never perform it because it has an emotional charge that is so heavy that it makes her leave the room when they play the song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gpzmn4ZoB5k.html
