thematically, its similar to " Someone Like You".... but her vocals are so astonishing on this track it raises the level of the song. In other hands, the song might not have done nearly as well. growing up I remember hearing this song at fast food places, I just sang it and loved it. I had no idea what it meant, now I hear it and look back at my past... I am sorry to myself, my young mind was broken, I hurt my younger self... I am so sorry truly. But... if I could go back in time... I wouldn't change what I had done. I learnt so much from the experience... so even if I could change it all... I wouldn't, I'd break myself again, be hurt again, feel it all again, just so my mind understands life isn't some fairytale.
