I know I'm late to the party lol but she explained when the album this song is in came out that the song is her 25 year old self to her younger self, actually, not to a boyfriend or friend. If I'm not mistaken, it was about how different her life at 25 was compared to how her younger self thought it was gonna be, and her being worried that her younger self wouldn't like where she was at or who she was at 25 after her career took off and she became one of the world's most well-known people ever

"Rolling in the Deep" is a good one from her. She did "SkyFall" for the Bond film, which was a huge hit for her. 442M views on the Lyric video alone. Hard to get more mainstream than that. Chester covered this song in a 2011 live performance. I shared the link on discord.
