I'll always miss her. I can see my future self now, 5, 10, 15, 20 years later. Still thinking of her. The best to ever happen to me & the worst mistake I made to fuck up everything. I'll never forget & always think of her/us. When we were young... may we meet again one day. But if not, I'll still carry the memories of us forever.

My mother-in-law always said retirement is like middle school and high school all over again. Lots of friends that a person never had time for when raising a family and working. Very little responsibility. Social get togethers, BBQ’s, going to the movies, playing cards, sports, etc. Well since I retired I can say this is true. Maybe I am not young but it’s the best time since my teen years.

I just heard a cover of this song & I came here to read the lyrics. With the exception of a few lines, this song makes more sense to be if it's accepted introspectively like she is singing to herself in a mirror. At least thats how I'm interpreting it.

The difference between when you were still young you're free to chose whatever u want to do.but wen you are getting old you will realized the desicion u made when you were young.Like when you love someone when you were young you will do anything for them.But then when u get old u will realized that letting go isn't bad even u love the person.Because you cannot force someone to stay beside you when actually they have their own plan without you.Incase it will happen it's good to chose yourself even it hurts a thousand times.Because no one will save there but you.I been there many times in my life and I know how it feels like.The more you hold the it really hurts.
