Hi Monica ji.. Very useful tips..Love your way of explaining. I always say that u r adinium queen..😍👸.You have lot of info about them. I have a problem with 2 of my adinium plants. Their codex became pulpy..Not hard. Root rot wasn't there. Might be because of rains / over watering.now shifted them under portico. Now what should I do ? Do i need to cut the roots ? I'll change the soil to well drain. Pl advise me..
Hello!😊 Thank you so much for the appreciation and love!❤️ I think your plant is suffering of stem rot disease which is caused by fungus. Cut the pulpy part of the caudex till the new tissues arrive. Then apply fungicide paste on it properly.
Oh..Thank u so much for the quick reply. Whole codex is little pulpy.. how to remove it? There wasn't much damage ..But I removed the plants from the pot. Now I need to cut it.. Can we use 5ml/ 2litre water seabead liquid and 2 tspn neemkhali and 3tspn bone meal and 2tspn saaf fungicide and micro nutrients powder 2 tspn Max and 1tspn NPK 20 20 20 and potash 1tspn and 1 tspn Epson salt and give it in soil for 3-4 adenium plants. Am I right or not

Hi Monica, Kindly advise if adding sand gives a well drain soil ? I have read several articles and forums where they say that adding sand in soil results like a concrete giving poor drainage. Mam I have to repot my peace lily soon and I want the soil to be well drained. I really want to use sand instead of perlite or vermiculite but kindly suggest if I can go with sand for the same. Now can I prune it to get a bonsai out of it? Shall I get a good looking caudex like we usually see in Adenium bonsai? Thanks.
Mam, I got all the long branches removed debarring 2 main primary ones. I removed plant from the pot & to my surprise it has excellent 3 big bulbs and a thin one (perhaps tap root). Roots are looking too thick as compared to the stem. I hv kept it to dry for few days. Pl tell me if I need to prone those big 3 roots? (But I m afraid). Thanks
When you repot yr plant lift it 2inches ,exposing the tick roots,those roots will also look like caudex ,every time when you repot adenium lift it about 1 or 2 inches.

Mere adenium ka caudex shrink hoke soft ho raha hai...but sari patti abhi bhi taje hai...mujhe lagta hai less watering ke karan huya hai...kaya pani dene se bapas thisk ho jane ka sambhabna hae?
This might be due to lack of nutrition or extremely hot weather. Wait for the rains and for the weather to get a bit cool and moist, your adenium will get healthy again!

Monikaji i m jealous about ur adenium plants ...it is ur adenium forest...there were 13 pots ...may be many more other side....help me plz one of my adenium is becoming soft in the caudex area but leaves are shedding very slowly...i hv kept it in sunlight and taken out from the soil....wht to do plz reply
