year 2050 Adept is releasing 30th reformulation of the Plain Jane Palette and 23rd reformulation of the Amunet Nu Palette. But do not worry our dear customers more reformulation are on their way.
Thank you for doing this comparison . I prefer the old version for the Bastet and Hathor and the matte brown over the inner corner pink and the better pigmentation of the old . I bought the old deep version on Mercari.

Hi Amy! I have Plain Jane and Amunet Nu. I don’t think either remastered palette has significant enough changes to warrant purchasing them. I’m happy with what I have! 😂 I love the comparisons. It reinforced my current happiness. I loved the video. I’m always so happy to see you 💚💚💚
Thanks for this. I was trying to decide. I dont like that Bastet , the orange coppery color was changed , thats what drew me to this palette in the first place. I have the nyhydrin , 2 palettes of singles, kodanne palettes. Leaning towards purple and pinks too much.
Very useful comparisons, I really like the new shades, not a fan of copper-orange tones, but bit disapointed that some of the new mattes (specially the grey and the brown) have a different bit warmer tone that in the original, I liked the purpleishnes of the grey and the brown was almost with like a plumy undertone. They could be perfoming better though, but I think I will skip this one, even though it's still my favourite colourstory from adept.

A bit miffed spent a fortune on a bundle and got the old amunet dark missing that beautiful multochrome basete but have new packaging however serket on the lips wow
I like the old palette more than the new and really wish I would have bought that one so I'm gna pass on this release this time around. The old palette seemed to swatch much better. I'll just wait for their next release.
Yeah I really don’t like this constant reformulation. It makes me not trust them. Are they reformulating because the last one was bad? How would I trust that the new palettes are good if I have this nagging thought they will reformulate next batch. It makes me not want to buy any new releases in the future.
I wonder the same thing. I ordered the updated Amunet palette but I would be annoyed if I had already bought the original. I only own two other palettes from them and love them so I do like their quality.
This makes me think a new manufacturer has began remaking a close copy of their previous palette. If they did not own the formula themselves when the first manufacturer produced the palettes, then they would not be able to take the formula, but a new factory could try to replicate it as close as possible & in the packaging of theirs that is similar but not exact. That’s my educated guess. Other brands have done this, not saying it is for sure, but I bet it is
To be honest, these reformulations are annoying me quite a bit. I have every Adept palette since Plain Jane og. I know I could buy the new shades in singles but I live in Europe so it would be quite expensive. I don't think I will be buying new releases from Adept asap after release anymore.
Where does the original palettes say they were produced? Then the remastered palettes? I’m going to put an educated guess that a new manufacturer has taken over & the formula & packaging is close but dif for this very reason.
I don't like how inconsistent Adept cosmetics is. I want to buy the best version of a palette at the time of purchase. Not have a brand release a different or better version a year later of what i already purchased. Seems pointless to me👎 Which is why I don't have the Plain Jane palette. Oh well🙄
Yes that’s exactly how I feel. If you’re going to change this much make it an entire new palette. Unearthly/ Alien does that too and I just want my palettes to be the best version at first purchase
I’m all for improving your formula but release new concepts and color stories. Releasing new versions of old palettes seems sus even if that isn’t their intention
I'm even more excited to receive mine and I didn't think it was possible. I wasn't into makeup much yet when the OG released so I'm glad it was remade and brought back. These kinds of tones are my jam along with shifty shadows. I know this is going to be a new favorite of mine and I'll own 5 Adept palettes 🥳
Personally alot of Adepts palettes don't speak to me colorwise and im also annoyed that they constantly keep reformulating their palettes. Why change the shades? Make a decision on which colors you definitely want in your palette and stick to them. Why change the formula? Are so many people having problems with the formula, over and over again, that they constantly need to reformulate it?
i don’t have either of them, but they’re beautiful, and i’m so tempted to get the new amunet. i just don’t understand why adept keeps reformulating all of their palettes. 🫤
