ADF ‘needs to grow’: Labor MP 

Labor MP Julian Hill says the Australian Defence Force “needs to grow”.
Defence Minister Richard Marles has been forced to clarify comments from the Veterans Affairs Minister yesterday that foreign recruitment for the ADF will only apply to Five Eyes partners.
“The national defence strategy makes absolutely clear that the Defence Force needs to grow,” Mr Hill told Sky News Australia.
“The former government announced a commitment to grow the ADF by 18,500 personnel.
“When the labour market’s strong, when the economy’s strong, defence struggles to recruit.”
