Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti is observed on the 5th day during the Shukla paksha (waxing of moon) in the month of Vaishākha. It is the birth anniversary day of Adi Shankaracharya (788 CE - 820 CE).
One of India’s greatest philosopher and saint, Shankaracharya arrived on the scene when there was complete destruction of truth, culture and morality. There was utter chaos and confusion and Shankaracharya set the house in order with his peaceful message of Vedanta.
On this sacred day, in reverence, we present you a recording of Adi Shankaracharya Suprabhatam.
🌺Music and rendition by Dr. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna;
🌺Suprabhatam is composed by Sri. Kuchibatla Chandrasekhara Sarma;
🌺Vocal support and Violin: Sri Achuta Rama Sastry.
💐We sincerely offer our grateful prañāms for those who produced this rare recording.
💐Our special thank to Smt. Uma Kameshwari for providing the details of this recording.
💐We also offer our grateful thanks to Sri. Mangalampalli Abhiram for enabling us to get the tapes for restoration of this rare recording by maestro.

Without form, without figure, without resemblance am I; Vitality of all senses, in everything I am; Neither attached, nor released am I; I am Consciousness, I am Bliss, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
