Adidas ABANDONED this innovative NMD design  

NMDs are the best. I still wear them today. Adidas makes a ton of NMDs still and comes out with new colorways monthly. Who cares about the OG prime knit. The fit wasn't as good. The have so many different uppers they offer now on nmds. You just have to find the one you like. I stopped buying nmds without painted boost, too much upkeep

I loved the NMDs back in the mid 2010s they made me an avid adidas fan and if they brought back their original nmd, or their deerupts, or primeknits/PODs3.1s they would have me buying again tbh

I was broke colleage kid back in 2015-2017 😢 I love NMD design and have save lists of grails that I would like to get. Now I finally can afford but the colourway is not that interesting anymore, hard to find my size in southeast asia, no more primeknit, the grails no stock

This is an amazing shoe Ive always wanted to cop them but they never go down on sale here in ph. a full boost midsole comfort and amazing silhouette NMD is easily one of the best Adidas products this century

Is it good for wide pronated feet?

One thing I hate about the new nmd r1’s is that they replaced the prime knit of the old with some other knit. Basically the old NMD’s had a collar that was really stretchy and you could basically slip them on without even using your hands. Now the new NMD’s have an actual collar and you can slip them on sorta, but it’s basically like any regular shoe. So after getting the black with gum sole I was actually pretty disappointed that they got rid of the prime knit. They still look sleek, and I’ll wear them, but they weren’t 100% what I was looking for after getting NMD’s for the first time in like 5 years. Also adidas really is like the Barcelona of shoe/clothing. Had really good success, but one after another they blundered. Whether it was boost, NMD’s, Yeezy. They kept missing up. I also don’t understand why they so heavily invested in super ugly shoes. The only real upside to adidas fucking up a lot, is that they have so many good sales. Prior to 2022 I’d say adidas rarely ever had sales up to 40%. Now maybe 3-6 times a year they have sales from 40% off to even 60% off. Idk what’s going on at adidas tho, I don’t know any other company that is able to keep having these massive sales for their products. I mean I got those exact NMD’s like two months ago down from $200 for like $68.

my gf has idk a somewhat normal arch in her foot and it hurts her but i have flat feet and they’re some of the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever worn

I actually love the primeknit

You can get these on sale and not pay the extra for an ultra boost 1.0 the nmd looks better to me and feels just as comfortable they should keep them around

Got my 1st pair about 6 months back and Love them need moar!

Adidas has possibly the worst management of all. They constantly keep fucking up their collabs. Have no idea how to hop on trends (those awful dirty ultraboosts, as an attempt to be a part of vintage/reimagined trend) Does not focus on models that they should and instead keep milking the shit out of whatever it is that they've got going on (sambas, other T type toe shoes)

they shouldn't give up on nmd!!! im so tired of seeing all these samba lookalikes. Like broo we aren't in the 80s anymore. The only thing keeping adidas worth looking at right now is FoG.

NMDs are not gonna come back in style they are a skinny jean type shoe they don’t look good with looser jeans
