I think the issue is that adidas is in control of production of the slides. This means that they can continue keeping the yeezy slides exclusive while releasing stuff like this to drive its consumer base
this comment points out exactly what the issue kanye has with adidas is. kanye wants you to have his slides; he’s talked with vps and heads at adidas who manage production, and they said it simply was not possible to produce more yeezy product. instead of producing more yeezy product so everybody can get their hands on it, they start production on another brand new slide, the same amount of production resources they just went and told kanye they didn’t have. they’re trying to cut out kanye’s 15% royalty by making shoes that mimic his designs. that’s the problem kanye is having with adidas

That adilette looks great and the disclaimer of Not A Yeezy would ensure a purchase from me. I hope Adidas takes note of your insight Brad A showcase of it in a business environment, something corporate would be nice. I would like to see how it fits in securing big triple digit deals

Great review Brad! Personally, these are not for me but for design in terms or colour, I prefer cameo over the neon yellow but it is preferential taste of course.

I just copped a pair of these adilette 22s on sale for 34$ Got them in the LEGO Grass green or as its known in common tounge, the Minecraft´s Really happy with it, would buy again, but i already have a pair
It's definitely a Yeezy ripoff but also Adidas made him a billionaire & with their contract lasting till 2026 Ye will continue to grow in wealth. They've ripped off not just this slide but also touches of the 700. But again they're in business together. Ye has a clothing deal with GAP which also collaborates with Balenciaga that makes him side cash. It's not completely fair all the way around but Yeezy's will forever be bigger then a Nike swoosh or Adidas stripes in the foreseeable future. Could also just be a marketing stunt & Ye gets a kick back for saying outrage he doesn't even mean, to drive hype up for a slide that isn't a Yeezy. Idk, the business world is much much more complicated then you think, once you study marketing & social media trends. Ye will be okay & so will Adidas.
