Great review. As someone with 350+ miles in the Boston 10, the 12 will be my next Daily Trainer. Glad to see the improvements as it did take a good while for the shoe to soften up a little.
I think you will really enjoy the 12! I have noticed in other Adidas shoes as well, they take a little while to break in, but I feel like they also last a bit longer too.
if they make it full lightstrike pro they will kill the adios pro shoe so that will never happen. adios pro is 40mm full ls pro. takumi sen is lower stack full ls pro. boston is in the middle
Great review! I've started running two months ago and I'm about to buy my first pair of running shoes but I can't decide myself between the Boston 12s and the Endorphin speed 4s because my wallet can only afford one pair at the moment so I'm looking for a versatile one to lower my 56 minutes in 10k. So what would you suggest me?
Sorry I just saw this comment, I would probably go with the Speed 4s for all out speed, although they are £40 more expensive. So for the price point I think the Boston 12s are the best value. If you can pick up the Speed 3s on a discount that would be an option too!
Maybe they will make some changes in the 13th version in the upper, it will be interesting to see what they do with it. I am doubting they will change the midsole much.
I have about 200 km in them, great shoes. I find the upper a bit less comfortable than my other favourite shoe, the Endorphin Speed 3. It's snappy and nice though.
Why these are hard on me ?😢 I brought them and they are giving me. pain fr this are first time I'm using carbon fiber shoes aslo it's been 2-3 days i have been running in these . Quite heavy if i say
They take a while to break in, for me they took around 60km before they started to become a little softer. But overall it's not the softest shoe out there.
All Adidas shoes have a cut out on the bottom heel area where you land as run. They cut out the foam where it’s the most needed. for this reason, not too many people runs with Adidas shoes. Big flaw.
i call b.s. on this so-called review. keep using these shoes and you will invariably end up creating lower leg/foot deficiencies, possibly lumbopelvic dysfunctions and most certainly neuromechical imbalances. and im talking from a clinical perspective from runners seen in the office. the "research" on these is a sham as well. enjoy!
