Your reviews are spot on, I agree with you on this one. I also go down half a size on the Dame line and with these it was no different. Fit is great and low to the ground. Excellent review.
i want to see you play more your style looks smooth and i might learn from it even if you don't get likes on that video i will still like and stay subed to your channel😌🏀
@@bebet12463 Dame Certified has much better cushioning. Traction is great on both. Dame Certified is also lighter, but Stepback 3 has a more secure lockdown.
@@TommyLiu4 last question.. im normally size 41 1/3 for adidas shoes (8.5US).. should i go half size up? i like an exact fit not too snug but not too loose thanks (BTW im normally size 8.5 in nike) thanks again
@@bebet12463 I’d recommend going with your true size for the best fit, so the 8.5 should be good. In general I’ve never sized up with Adidas basketball shoes.
I ended up buying the and i just got a few conserns and i just want to know if they are normal( i have worn them 3 times and i have 1/3 size up from normal) First of all, after 3 hours of hooping my foot was hurting a lot. This happens with other shoes but especially with this one. Secondly they are quite snug even with 1/3 size up. Also the cousion doesnt feel vwry good. Apart from that everything was ok, just they need to be clean for the traction to work well even on an outdoor court ,but even then its not that bad
Hey buddy, nice vid as always Could you give me some advice? I,m looking for some good quality shoes , some good materiais... i was looking for the witness 6 but these days saw a few videos about more expensive shoes such as kd 14, keyre infinity and others. Here in my country i dont have acess physically, only online, so i cant actually see their quality.. the point is, kd14 for example is more than twice the price of witness 6/precision and others, so is it worth The price? Do these more expensive sneakers have more quality materials and Last longer? Thanks!
Hey thanks. That’ll really depend on which shoe exactly you’re talking about, some of the expensive shoes are really just money grabbers and some budget shoes are actually great. The KD 14 is an excellent performer, worth the price in my opinion.
🙏 Dame 8 for amazing cushioning, Dame Certified for excellent traction. It depends on what’s more important to you, but if you can get them at around the same price I’d go with the Dame 8. But I mean the Dame Certified should go on sale soon too.
Hey Tommy, I appreciate the review on the Dame Certified’s. I was just wondering if you could tell me the brand & type of the pants you used in this video.
Just fantastic shoes especially for a budget option! I also think officially it's known as the Certified in the USA and Extended Play 2.0 overseas (not extra play) lolol which is a nod to his rapper/music persona.
Good day sir,I love it,dame shoes,I wish any 2nd hand shoes from you sir, because my shoes that I wear it is from my cousin,I borrowed everytime I play basketball,
Hey tommy, i'm planning on getting these but I'm also concerned about going half a size down (last pair available). I usually wear a size uk10 for lebron and kyries, do you think a uk9.5 dame certified will be fine? Appreciate your videos btw!
I think I’ll still take the Curry 3Z6. These have good cushioning for a budget shoe but full length Micro G is also great. 3Z6 is also lighter and easier to break in.
@@johnv8949 Very similar, I’ve only tried on a pair of 3Z5 in store and the 3Z6 feels softer and more responsive on feet. However the rubber outsole on the 5 felt a little bit more sturdy.
Hello, I am interested into buying a baseball shoe and I am between Nike precision 5 at 49$ and the Dame extply 2.0 at 55$. Which should I choose? Based on performance. Thank you!!!
I have a 4E foot and I tried the court rider chaos size 12, I liked the fit, but it was a little bit snug in the toe box, compared with this shoe, do you think this is a good choice for me?
@@TommyLiu4 Daaaame (damn) 🔥🔥 makes my feet itching for this. Hahaha Just read the comment sections, there were questions already comparing the two. Should've read first 😂😂 Love your reviews as always 💪
I think true to size is best, for me they did break in better over time but obviously it depends on how you feel about it. If it really bothers you then I guess swap for a bigger size or return them.
Hey tommy! I have a question, do you suggest getting these or the Dame 8 for about 15$ price difference? I’m gonna use them indoor as well as outdoors. Thanks
Hey. That’s honestly so close, might just come down to the look and your priorities. Dame 8 offers a cushioning upgrade with Bounce Pro, more compression and very wide foot friendly, but Dame Certified traction is better indoors. Both good for outdoors.
Right 10.5 is my true size. I went down a half size since I do that with most Adidas basketball shoes, but like I said TTS is best. I got a second pair going TTS and it’s perfect. 😃
Hey, appreciate you watching! These are two of the best budget shoes out there in my opinion. Air Max Impact 4 has better heel cushioning, slightly easier to break in but these are a great option for outdoors and the grip was really good.
Thanks for the quick reply man! I'm a little bit of an older player(mid 30s) that hasn't played for a years and wanted to get back into balling casually. Any recommendations from the budget segment? I can also probably go up to 120 usd max but prefer the best bang for buck.
@@storx61 I see! That’s nice, always good to get back on the court again 😃 In that case the Nike PG 6 at $110 I think is just amazing value for its price, also my pick for the best all-around shoe this year. Other than that and the two we mentioned, the Curry 3Z6 is one that I really like too, very affordable pricing of 80 bucks with nice cushioning for a budget shoe.
Which budget shoe is better? Adidas Dame Certified or the Nike Air max impact 4 which of them are better for dusty court and more durable? Any Pros and Cons?
@@TommyLiu4 I play volleyball which requires a lot of jumping, which do you think is the more comfortable and bouncier shoe I should get? Thanks for the fast reply anyway, love your content.
@@markdelfin4628 Both traction are excellent actually, top notch among budget shoes. If I have to pick, the Dame EXTPLY 2.0 - traction was so good and consistent.
@@johncoro8199 Honestly to me it just comes down to which one you can find a better deal for, so Dame Certified I guess. It does have better traction than the Dame 8 from my experience.
Bro I play on cemented surface outside not even synthetic what will be the best budget shoes that are durable (traction) till now I was hooping in nike airmax impact 4 and it's like flat at bottom no traction left please tell . I have been looking for new shoes for so long .।।
if i can find both dame 8 and the extply 2.0 on the same price, who do you suggest ? also which shoe has better ankle support ? cause i have weak ass ankles 🤣
Dame 8 if they were the same price, better ankle support with the Dame 8 for sure. But I recommend getting the black or blue colorway with a translucent trim on the outsole for better traction performance than the white solid rubber outsole.
These have better cushioning and compression, traction is excellent on both, Stepback 3 has a more secure lockdown. I’d take these for cushioning and lighter weight.
They’re still about average width, but narrower than many other Adidas basketball shoes like the Harden’s, Trae Young’s and Dame 8. Going true to size is probably the best, like I said I wish I bought a half size bigger too 😂
I had a feeling someone would ask this 😆 It’s hard to beat the Precision given its price, but these have much better cushioning and compression for sure. So honestly the Dame Certified is a better shoe overall.
Maybe some recency bias but I’ll take these for the better cushioning. Traction is great on both, if you need a more secure lockdown go with the Harden Stepback 3.
@@TommyLiu4h sorry i meant to say the harden stepback 3 sorry. but if its heavier i might take the dame extraplay for lighter weight. thanks for the help man. keep grinding, i love your vids
Dame 8 = better cushioning and compression; Dame Certified = better traction. It depends on what’s more important to you and also which one you can find a better deal for.
Dame 8 if you can get it on sale 😆 So these have much better traction, but the Dame 8 cushioning is amazing. And if you’re thinking about the Dame 8 get the colorways that have a translucent trim on the outsole (blue or black one).
