These are awesome - a truly rare re-release! Proper 8-ring lace rows (instead of your typical 7), sweet double stitching perimeter detail on the uppers, and a leather heel thumb-patch - definitely the closest to the original 1968 of all the Gazelle re-releases! Should have left that 1973 Trefoil off that tongue, though, for an even more authentic feel, and just read “Adidas” with no logos on the patch :-)

I was there at euro 96 - great day. Not just any gazelles - they're a real terrace trainer those. A very eventful day. 😉🍻🍻🍻

Great review. These look cool as F! Gazelles are the ones suitable for a wider foot aren't they? I am a size 12 man and I find the brand to run a little short with a slightly tighter toebox, at least in their running shoes. But from what I remember Gazelles were a bit wider?

I would keep white laces as first choice but both nice tho. You've bought well - really nice on foot - loved the match clips. 👌👍
