Had the pleasure of wearing these boots and still have a couple of pairs one for collection the other for which I do wear them from time to time. The boots are still awesome and it still comfortable. Definitely one of the few best predators in the post leather era.
Literally Halts i only used them 2 times when i got them new so maybe Noah did more of the break in. I will agree with you on the lockdown i never liked it thats why i put them away, i felt like they were very slippery specially when your foot got sweaty. Also the grip elements where grippier when i bought them and clearer but as they stayed in storage they yellowed 😢
Was literally on the fence of buying a pair as I cane across them on ebay for a good price. Still hesitating. I bought a pair of adipower predators. Never worn them before. And I also just feel that the lockdown isn't the greatest, but everything else is nice.
@@haltsboots pretty sure ive seen some floating around ebay in a size 9 for about $120 bucks. I'd definitely be curious to hear your thoughts. I just put them into my rotation but like you I live in the midwest so chances to play in them have been hard to come by lol they are very comfortable that's for sure.
one of my favorite preds! the other colorways (I've had the red/black, red/white, and red/orange with battle pack pattern) had the velcro texture at the heel area too, as well as a suede-like material in the areas where it wasn't that velcro-like material... really helped with lockdown for me. I didn't know the battle pack had different lining material! Thankfully never had tongue slippage so I guess your mileage will vary
Just bought a used pair for really cheap. Sure its a shame the rubber elements dried up and are now basicaly hard and sorta slippery, as opposed to soft and grippy. The upper itself still feels soft as heck and even leather like. If anything that's what's held up really well for the shoe.
