Adidas is now using the Consortium 4D midsole, which is definitely better than the Alphaedge. I'm looking forward to more 4D sneakers coming out.

Diego is spot on for the sizing... True to size will yield a tighter toebox area whereas going up a half size will give you appreciated wiggle room. I plan to use these less for sport and more for every-day/casual wear and the comfort is more important to me than the responsiveness of a tighter fit. I feel like my big toe would rub right up against the material and over time, I might wear out the shoe sooner that way. Love Diego's reviews. I love the blackout 4d.

Yeah I think you’ll be fine, I went a half size up because my feet are a little wide.

What would you rate most to least comfortable from the 3? AlphaEdge 4D vs ZX 4000 vs Run 1.0

I'd say the AlphaEdge 4D is most comfortable because it's a sock-like upper that doesn't need to be laced up, then the Run 1.0 because of the breathability and running-friendly design, last is the ZX 4000 - which is not uncomfortable but takes a bit more time breaking in and getting used to. cheers!

YouKnowDiego I really appreciated the insight on sizing. I’m a wide 9.5 and would have chosen TTS so knowing to go up is good. Also if it don’t feel better than boost, I’m out lol

The Alphaedge has the oldest 4D lattice pattern, and is therefore the least comfortable out of all the 4D's, but not in a drastically noticeable way... It's really up to you.
