Great review Paul. I can't imagine anyone knowing more than a professional retailer who can wear any pant he wants and thought enough to review. I suspect that Adidas, having so much experience with sports apparel, materials, functional design elements and fashion would have advanced knowledge of movement and materials to design and create a hyper-functional golf pant. I typically wear golf attire as business casual for work and it just is so much more comfortable to wear all day and it always looks amazing. Keep up the great work and thanks for not having a stupid musical intro too :)

I agree the best pants I have ever owned. I also have the shorts. Light, breathable, confortable. One thing on the shorts (not sure if it's the same on the pants) I wish the back pockets were fixed so they would not come out when I pull out my glove when I put in in to putt. Best pants and shorts I have tried.

Paul - great to know you feel the same way about the pants as I do. As for the back pockets I really never noticed - you make a great point - I will forward your thoughts to adidas.

Did you happen to realize they run a little bit longer, like I'm a 32 and they hit the ground on these. Other brands like Dockers 32 is a bit less long.

I have some pants I got at Ross 10 years ago. They are the Adidas Climalite golf pant. They are super thin and perfect for playing in the heat in AZ. I guess they don't make them anymore. Can someone suggest an equally light and thin pant?

I would like to purchase golf pants from Adidas on the Sorts Direct site. But the problem is that I cannot understand their size chart. There is indicated for example 32WR size and 32W R size. There is no space between W and R in the first case (32WR) and the opposite is a space between W and R in the second case (32W R). These are 2 different sizes. Could you please, explain me the meaning of this? My son usually wear S or M size clothes, and I cannot identify which size to choose. Could anyone help me, please?

I ordered these in the tapered version and they are way to tight around my thighs. Would ordering the regular version give me room or is it just tapered on bottom? I can’t find a chart anywhere that gives me the sizes through the thigh and opening. Is there a chance going up one waist size would provide more thigh room? Thank you.

Most golf pants and shorts correctly designed for golfing have that rubberized inner waistband. It is a great feature. If the pants I'm looking at to buy don't have this I don't buy them.

The water repellent is troublesome and a possible health hazard, as that chemical leaches into your body. Remember, our bodies are mostly water and a chemical that repels water can cause problems on a cellular level.
