Come on man, you know why they're not sought after yet. Look how long ppl slept on the Waves when they dropped, then a year later it caught on. Now even with multiple drops of the Waves they still have great resell. Ppl complained "Yeezy 350 V2's are all the same and we need more experimental colors, we need a new version of the 350 V2." But when the creative designer's with Ye invented the 380, a completely out there silhouette with colors that POP. A truly redesigned piece of footwear art, what did the same ppl do? *Answer: Sleep on it. This is a shoe that will gain resell price in a couple years if not in 2021. Old school sneaker heads are still chasing their childhood shoes of these flat bottom Jordan basic who cares colorways and dragging beginners through the same trap of purchasing outdated shoes that are horrible for the evolved human foot. I love all Yeezy's as I love my body and my feet, they only get the top of the line food and shoe comfort. Which Yeezy has on lock with Adidas boost included. Purchase to wear or purchase to long hold waiting for these very, extremely slow evolving ppl to catch up to fashion. All of Asia gets it and are light-years ahead of American fashion who follows right behind Europe. Love the video but I'm sure you understand why these shoes haven't hit yet Sir.
One of the big reasons is that we just don't see many celebrities wearing any iteration of the 380. New 350s are still selling out because celebrities have made that silhouette iconic. Even people who aren't sneakerheads are still trying to get themselves a pair. The 380 doesn't have that same association with celebrity culture yet, so there's not as much hype surrounding it. Outside of the sneakerhead community, people don't really care about it. Celebrities are the biggest influencers of hype. If more celebs started wearing the 380, it definitely wouldn't sit regardless of the color.
This is my first 380. I like the colourway apart from the stripe. If it was a 350 then I'd pass but I love the fit and comfort. The wider toe box makes it a perfect fit for my wide foot.
Got the reflective one and at first wasn’t quite sure, but as soon as I had the shoe in hand I was sold, the colors are way different in person. Really wearable, great with denim other than most of my 350‘s which besides the white/ black‘s are more a maybe once a month situation. Definitely the most comfortable yeezy for me.
The Alien colorway was soooooo fire! But then... the mist (meh), the blue oat (bad), and now the pepper (meh). We need a good 380 colorway! The Onyx pair or the grey one with the glow in the dark sole.
Soooooo many people are getting a chance to cop their first pair of 380s or Yeezys in general. Which makes this pair widely accessible. This will cause a great popularity in the near future and much added following. Pictures don’t do justice to this colourway. They look so luxurious in hand.
Really love the shoe, but hate the colorway I think that the 380s will start to increase in popularity when more cohesive colorways are released and people actually start wearing them
I agree - the 380s are way underrated. They are my faves. PS - i have noticed that a couple youtubers i watch have recently changed their channel names to their actual names. did YT ask you all to do that?! seems so weird. anyway, solid vid! solid shoes. i hope to grab the reflective.
I think they aren’t selling out because people tend to be followers more than pioneers for fashion. They don’t see many 380s on foot. Not many celebrities wearing them. So they naturally don’t bother with them. They see more 350s though so that is what it is and they go buying those up. Same with Jordan 1s. Last year there were pairs no one wanted. This year you can’t find a single damn pair of 1s anywhere but StockX or GOAT if you strike out on retailers.
I agree with the your assessment of the Jordan 1s. If it wasn’t for pure luck in the US coping, or paying a little extra for EU shipping I probably would of struck out on them. I hate paying resell, but sometimes that’s the only way. Now with these 380s I like them. Pretty good neutral colorway. My pair will be here next week.

Jason Nicholas yeah the lacing on these are a bit odd but I'm excited to see them in person. I'm not too crazy about the red laces. I rather see someone else cut theirs & put them on to see if it's worth cutting the original lacing.

I think the 380s are just for true yeezy fans . People who never bought yeezy are going for the 350 . I can image the 380s gaining traction after the 350 get over saturated. Love the peppers
Was lucky enough to get my hands on the reflectives but the resell is terrible just now. Definetly holding onto these and may even keep. They're much nicer in hand. Another great video.
Idk but I had the mist colourway and the problem with them (380) (for me personal) was that it was difficult to find a style to wear them🤷🏾♂️ it doesn’t fit to vintage and not to the classic Nike boy....but in itself I really like the shoe
You don't see as many celebrities rocking the 380. That's why there isn't much hype surrounding it. So far, I can only remember seeing one celebrity who wore any 380, and that's Kanye himself and he isn't particularly known for being a fashion icon these days. Celebrities are the biggest influencers of hype.
hi! i hope you see this. i have never purchased anything from yeezy but i want this style. i have a very narrow foot and am a size 8 in women’s. would it still be best to size up .5? i’m a men’s 6.5
It’s a shame all the colors for these have been either really bad or meh. Personally only going for the reflective version. The only other colorway that looks good is the Onyx pair, so if I can’t get these it’s not a big L.

AGGIN THOSE look gross. I stop caring about YEEZY ever since Kayne sold the company off to the Chinese also I just hate anything made in China. YEZZY Season 1-3 were the good old times.
