Today I'm reviewing the Adidas Yeezy 500 Blush! This is the first color way of the brand new Yeezy 500 silhouette. Instead of Boost the Adidas Yeezy 500 Blush or Desert Rat features Adiprene. These are fucking fire to me honestly. I love the creative direction he decided to take, because while the 350s are fire, these are something new, and that mono colorway is some MORE fire.

Buy what you wear, and i bought this shoes to wear, not because of hype. Just because i like the look on feet, people jumping on the train criticising hype beast are correct for a certain amount of people. But there are people like me who just genuinely like the way it looks and i am going to wear them

Like the 700s these took a bit for me to warm up to and I actually love both of them now. I like the direction they’re headed giving us new silhouettes along side keeping the 350s going even though there is a little fatigue there.

Yea I was kinda skeptical when I got these originally but they grow on you, and seriously on camera is nothing compared to on foot... and it’s very comfortable and weird in all the right ways

The yeezy 350 hype was actually on his peak when the Yeezy zebra's rereleased on June 2017. It's good that they now make something completely different for a while. Also the yeezy 700 wave runner was first seen way before the dad shoe trent was rolling. Only Raf Simons made bulky shoes before that with his Ozweego's.

Whether people want to admit it or not, this shoe is everything of what a “Dad shoe” is!! Thick, bulky, chunky comfortable shoe. What more do you expect ? Lol a dad shoe is supposed to look kinda weird but in this case, it’s weird and cool at the same time. I loved the shoe. This dad shoe design was the best in my opinion!! Better than Balenciaga. Triple S is my second favorite.

By themselves I can't say I dig the look but on foot I definitely notice the appeal. I think if they streamline the design a bit more, throw in some boost and keep that colorway I'd be a lot more interested. Reminds me of space haha

The chunky “dad shoe” trend is in full swing. I really like the color on the yeezy 500 but I’m really excited for the Puma Thunder Spectra coming out later this month. Seth you should try to get a pair.

Great review Seth but that on feet honestly really shows that these type of shoes really look the best with wider/looser pants. Skinny jeans/joggers just don’t go very well with these to be honest.

Tbh I hate the dad shoe trend but I really dig these for some reason. Pretty understated. Not sure how I feel about the on feet look since the shape changes slightly, but I think they look really clean in the pictures and in hand.

I like these -- agree with downsides being the price point without boost and the lack of breathability. Nonetheless, good to see Kanye sticking true to his word.--seems to me that the Calabasas and 500s are his way of making yeezys available for everyone, but I am excited for the upcoming v2s

Colourway looks clean, I like the monochromatic faded tan finish. The midsole and outsole design are inspired by adidas Feet You Wear from the 90s. Upper design is very alien-looking, futuristic, even insect-like. Will take some getting used to. But agree on the mesh, it’s the odd material out. Makes it look like a cheap knockoff. But overall finish is impressive.
