I've watched all these Stone reviews and no one has mentioned how they ditched the trash oval laces for ropes on these joints. Best 500 to drop that old tongue looks cheap af.

I really dont mind the tongue, it contours around the ankle so it isnt rubbing often against your skin if your wearing low socks, I'm thinking that was their intended reason for the design.

Only managed to get these now...that gum sole just completes this shoe into a fire crepe...update...sold mine and missed em so much had cop another pair

Does the leather/suade stretch out eventually? This is my favorite colorway. The gum sole made it look doper. I prefer shorter suade as it is easier to clean.

I don’t think there was an inspiration to the tongue necessarily it’s probably more of a functional thing because you don’t have that loop to grab in the middle to pull it up. To me Neoprene is a big upgrade over mesh it’s 1 of my favorite materials I mostly see it used as a liner on Chinese brand shoes like Li-ning and Anta however I would rather have a better suede and mesh than a cheaper suede and Neoprene I do love the Gum outsole though it’s definitely still a great looking shoe.

Yeezy 500 Supermoon yellow was a part of YS bundle released December 5 2017 while Blush released only in February 2018.

That's true but come on man nobody considers the yellow moons to be the OG colorway, because by the time the yellow moons from YS were actually shipped, the blush had already released
