Love it. Adimanti was a project Ganzo launched to try and create a premium line, but it just never took off. You had the Samson--which nobody can keep in stock--that was designed by a group of Russian guys called Brutalica Knives that I'm actively looking for (an apt name in addition to "Samson" would be "Sorry! Out of Stock!") and the Neformat, often called the Skimen, although that's actually the name of the designer, Russian RU-vid knife reviewer Ruslan Skimen. My Russian is terrible, but in Ukrainian (I'm a fourth), "Neformat" means "not formatted", which is...a bit out there (you'll find some Russian loanwords in Ukrainian from the Soviet era), so I would probably guess "informal" is what it means.
@@bladesandmore8833 The crazy thing is that there were full titanium versions of the Samson planned! Crazier still: look hard and you can actually find full Ti Neformats! They're in S35VN and a few have G-10 show side handle scales. Now they're out of stock almost everywhere, but not cheap: $150 if you can find 'em!
Great review brother! I love daggers and every time I've wanted to pull the trigger on this knife they've been out of it... but I'm still not going to give up I want this knife it's a good looking blade shape and I have another Adimanti Skiman Ti I'm not sure of the model number but I have a review on it it's a really good looking knife I did a review on the carbon fiber one also, anyway good review man I gave to get this knife now that I've seen your review of it, it's just too good looking of a dagger! 👍🏻😁
Hey Jerry thanks for watching and the comment! I like this Samson and it's tactical type design. After this model I was waiting for Adimanti to possibly put out more model but it has not happened as of this date. You would think that with the successful run of the Samson that it would have motivated them to keep going. Have you heard of anything else from them?
@@bladesandmore8833 yeah it's very successful I know for a fact because everytime I try to get them they're out of stock so I haven't heard anything but I'm hoping there's more from them and I hope they keep producing this one for a while!
Adimanti, that sounds Italian, I know, Ganzo =China. The name also reminds me of Adam and the ants but I guess you need to be British and have been around in the 80s to remember them. Really nice looking knife if a little aggressive looking with that Swedge. Great review Mark, keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching Tim and the comment! This is a tactical type knife with a spear point blade and some hefty weight. It does have an aggressive stance that would be great for self defense. It may be a little heavy for a EDC though. It is a nice one.
Next time remove it first. I just received mine this morning. I removed the clip, gently bent it a bit, and then sanded the G10 directly below where the clip contacts it. I removed enough material in that small spot to flatten the diamond pattern. Used compressed air to remove the dust. Slips in and out of the pocket much smoother now.
STAY AWAY from this knife and Ganzo in general, clip broke on first use and support is non-existent. 3 months of emailing them to send a clip or at least a link where I can purchase a clip is unproductive, they ignore their customers.
It's Adimanti season out on them mean streets, kids. Keep your mind sharp and your blade even sharper. I own the green D2 version. It beckons badassery and untamed ferocity. It's almost as intimidating as the Artisan Proponent. That giant, tactical, box cutter is the meanest folding knife I own.
