Some more info from scientists closer to VELC The continuum channel represents the line continnum and not relate to the continuous images as you mentioned. In other words 500nm central wavelength with 0.1 nm passband doesn't include any type of spectral lines. Also, VELC will not take slit-jaw images similar to IRIS, but only spectra as the 4 slit positions at 3 wavelengths. There is a provision to scan the complete region what we call as raster scan. In this way we will have spectral information the the corona upto 1.5 Rsun. Some interesting facts about VELC: 1. It has a CME mode where the instrument will go to burst mode and is capable of taking observations every milli second. 2. There is an onboard intelligence to detect CMEs using onboard computer itself. This is the first of its kind. 3. VELC will attempt to measure the magnetic field of the solar corona from space. This has been an outsanding problem in solar physics.

Bro can you make a detailed video about the next generation launch vehicles (NGLV) and other Future launch vehicles of ISRO, and there probable timeline. Also can you make a video on when ISRO will make a manned moon mission. I think ISRO will be able to launch a manned mission by 2035. So can you please explain these two things in your next videos.

ISRO and IIA scientists also disclosed that they had to work with the satellite extremely carefully. They refrained from wearing perfume and went through a very sophisticated cleaning process and had to work in big suits to prevent any potential contamination from foreign particles. These dedicated scientists truly deserve commendation for their meticulous efforts.

It's very interesting because L1 point is 1.5 million kms away from earth so we automatically think it's very far from earth, which is true in a sense but in terms of distance between earth and sun it is at the 1% distance from earth to the sun and the sun is 148.5 million km from L1 point. 🤯🤯

You can imagine how big the sun is compared to the rest of the stuff in the solar system.
@bowxfire5275
@bowxfire5275 9 месяцев назад
@@debasisghadai3633yup. Sun is soo big that the area where earth's and suns gravity balances out 99:1 in distance. Suns gravity is just 28x that of earth's but it still has such a large pull. Imagine how strong and far away a blackhole would effect as a bh of 1 solarmass has as much gravity pull as the sun. If our sun with radius of 700,000km was replaced by a bh, the bh would have a Schwarzschild radius of 3km. Gravity on that 1 solarmass bh is an insane 1.6 trillion g's, Sun is 28 g's, earth has 1 g of force. I love space man. I wish we could learn more about blackholes too but it's just soo far away and soo much different to what we have studied. We won't be able to study it well for such a long time.
@debasisghadai3633
@debasisghadai3633 9 месяцев назад
@@bowxfire5275 black holes are definitely gravitational monsters which defy all physics, us having a supermassive one at the center of our milky way but the closest one Is just about little over 1k light years away. These things are very far away for us to send any type of satellites but we can be hopeful we have developed the technology in the next thousands of years to get there. Space indeed is fascinating 😃

@@debasisghadai3633 do you know the math to figure out how far away the gravitational pull of Gaia BH1 is exactly or about 1g? That's the closest bh to us. It's 1200 ly away.
