I have never seen a moving head move that fast at that price point. Very impressive. If only the zoom range was motorized/more than 3° difference

Yeah. I'm stickin with my 3z's. That zoom is a joke. Don't need the speed. Glad you like them. As far as aesthetics are concerned, the white 3z's look better on the totems. IMHO. My 2cents.

BK Ray you are correct, nothing beats the pearl white 3z. I wish I could afford them. But I will save my $ to get them. They are truly stellar.

Wish they would get rid of the the UV lamp or make it more powerful. Don't for get the Focus Spot 6 as well. The smaller the light the fast it can move due to its mass with out upgrading the motors.

I'm glad that you like them, and created really nice effects (the wedding setup you showed is awesome). But honestly those 2X's suck compared to 4Z's. Bit pricier, I know, but hella more versatile. Oh, and better gobos too.

It's an ADJ Airstream DMX Bridge and it can used with just about any brand of fixtures not just ADJ products. The controller has 1 DMX out and he daisy chains the DMX to the fixtures. The ADJ "Airstream DMX app" is the app he used for programming. It only works with iPads and iPhones though.

Dj Barr, saludos soy Dj Checho de Puerto Rico te sigo pq me gustan tus blogs de You Tube, aprendo con muchos de los post de los que haces y he visto q visitas a Puerto Rico muy a menudo, nada te escribo para preguntarte de que tamaño son los truss q usas al lado de tu Dj Facade pq quiero comprar unos de ese mismo size y no quiero q sean ni muy altos ni muy pequeños, me gustan el size q tu usas....Es que no se si ese size son 6pies o 8pies de alto, quiero el mismo size q usas tu en tu set up. You can get a very comparable fixture from Gamma LED that is 250 Watt LED, with a motorized zoom 5.5 - 30 degree, motorized focus, 7 color + white... for the same price or cheaper. Just paying for the ADJ price here...

Who cares about the watts, what are the lumens? That is how you measure the lighting. I have older lights that are just as bright as that light and they are only 150 watt bulbs.

This is a great video as always, and your energy is contagious. As someone that’s Dj’d a lot of weddings, venues and events, though, the one thing to that’s good to avoid is strobe lights outside of a club setting. There are many people who have photosensitivity issues, or possibly even epilepsy. Strobe lights are the first thing any DJ should avoid at events, especially at weddings, when older family members of the bride and groom are likely to be attending. As for the lights, they look impressive, but the Pearl 3z lights you featured in one of your earlier equally superb Quinceañera videos has the best Gobos overall. The star formations you showed in that video were absolutely amazing. Your video is what prompted me to get them for wedding events. The Gobos in this video looked sharp, but there weren’t any included ones that looked as good as even the most basic Gobo patterns the Peal 3z lights had. That being said, with everything that’s gone on the last year, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. You’re a great representation of the DJ community.
