Door Cut lines and Door Projection lines are simply the LineStyles that Revit uses to represent the door when CUT through or when seen in PROJECTION (off in the distance).

You are correct. I thought that’s what you wanted to see. But now I realize it’s rotating the actual door geometry?! That is easy also.. yet, with one change... you should make a separate door panel family and insert it into the one I made and then ‘Align/Lock’ the inserted door panel family to the reference line. Works like a champ!
