I made this huge miter saw station for a station for a client who currently has a 10” miter saw and plans to upgrade to a 12”. Normally I would just build a permanent base for the existing miter saw to bring it flush to the sides of the work surfaces, but since eventually he will have a larger saw I wanted to provide room to grow while still allowing any saw to be perfectly level and flush. The solution I came up with is simple and uses nuts, bolts, and washers to create four posts which adjust the height of the saw’s base. Once everything is dialed in the saw is completely flush with the sides, creating a perfect work surface.
