Best Monster Jam Day Ever 1270
We are home from our family vacation to Hawaii and what better way to start a Best Day Ever than in the backyard!! Niko and Aldey are driving round their mini monster truck that looks just like mine. They drive on the splash pad, in the rocks, even on the trampoline!! Why are they driving around? Cause today we are going to Monster Jam to see real life monster trucks. This is a first for Jenny, Niko, Adley, even me and we are so excited!!
We head down to the stadium and in the parking lot they have all the monster trucks on that are competing on display so people can see them and meet the drivers. It’s kinda like a fashion show with giant cars!! We also met up with our homie Scott! He is one of the announcers for Monster Jam and he and his family watch the vlogs and A for Adley. When he found out that Monster Jam was coming to Utah, he reached out to us to see if we wanted to be his guests at the show! He gives a behind the scenes tour of all the trucks and introduces us to some of the drivers. We get to go inside the Grave Digger and see what's inside a real monster truck. These things are so cool! Oh, and so many have pirate flags, that it makes me think of pirate island and all those stinky fairys! While we are looking around, Niko Bear and Adley find a race track with baby monster trucks on it. They really want to take them for a ride. So the kiddos jump in and it's a speed test to see who is fastest! Niko gets in a floor is lava truck while Adley finds a Blue Lightning one that is super fast!
After the race, we find a monster truck that has a giant mohawk that the kiddos really want to see. Right next to it is a little carnival where they have shaved ice and are doing crazy hair painting. Niko gets his hair Hulk Smash green and Adley gets a pink mohawk to match her rocket league car lol! Next stop is on the monster truck track! We get to see where all the jumps, flips, and tricks will happen. It’s really really cool.
We head inside to see where Scott will be doing his live show tonight and he also has some gifts for the kiddos. They get stuffies that are mini grave digger monster trucks! Adley and Niko loooove them. They are doing crazy throws with them and its so funny because niko always lands all of his tricks!! When we get into Scott’s announcers booth, we get to try on his headphones and its one of the coolest things ever. Me, Jenny, and the kiddos are having a blast hearing our voices and pretending to be announcers.
It's now time for the show to start. We get to sit way up in one of the boxes so we can see everything and it's amazing! First up is the two wheel tricks. Some trucks do donuts, some drive on two wheels, while others do amazing hand stands...with monster trucks!! is this real life?!! Next is the freestyle section, where each truck has a minute and a half to do their best tricks like huge jumps, back flips, and a few have some gnarly crashes. I am so happy that we got invited because this is so much fun!! These drivers have so much control and are able to stay on two wheels for such a long time. It's crazy to see these trucks doing tricks like these.
