Every Saturday you take me to a place I will more than likely never go BUT after watching I always want to go! I could definitely enjoy the stay at this hotel especially the spa service! I also want to compliment you on how you show slow, steady sweeps of rooms and angles which gives time to look at everything! That is certainly one of the best features of your stream is allowing the viewer to take in everything with relaxation and enjoyment. The hotel room is completely handsome in all aspects of that word. Please have an amazing week and can't wait until next video!
My stay in Germany was crazy. All those kinds of bread and cold cuts in the breakfast, The different ways of preparing pig and, of course, the beer and the "schnapps" and that was only a business trip! Kein schöner Land in dieser Zeit mein Freund! Thanks for sharing!
Way too expensive for me, but cool to see in what kind of place you can stay if you have the money! The room is absolutely amazing! A sauna?! Didn’t expect that!
The Adlon is a legend resurrected. It was no longer intact after 1945 and was rebuilt in the same place in 1997 with the participation of the founding family. The founder himself died one night, during the numerous riots in Berlin, in the middle passage of the Brandenburg Gate, looking at "his Adlon". Lorenz Adlon created something unique and a very small part of it can still be felt today at the elephant fountain in the lobby. By the way: the elephant fountain is the original. It was already in the lobby when it opened. Welcome to the Adlon, "Adlon oblige".

Als ich 1987 dort war, standen in der Lobby 50 Scheffel Körbe mit faulen Zwiebeln. Ich und ein paar Freunde beschlossen, eine Zwiebelschlacht zu veranstalten. Mein Gott, was war das für ein Durcheinander. Als es vorbei war, waren überall Zwiebeln klebrig und wir stanken alle nach faulen Zwiebeln. Gute Zeiten!

I stayed here a bunch of times and it is without doubt one of the best in berlin, in germany certainly top 5 and up there with the best 50 city hotels in the world. Service is very friendly and feels like afamily.

Hello Traveler. The hotel is exquisite. It's very beautiful. When they rebuilt this space, they did a really great job with the décor and style of the original. I'm glad that they were able to capture its grandeur and beauty and at the right spot in the city as well.
We stayed at the Adlon. It was perfect! I still remember the swimmingpool, where i every morning took a swim. Lovely atmosphere. Your film is doing right to it!

Hotel Adlon Kempinski has even blended with how the Brandenburg Gate looks like. The green painted attic matches that the color of statue on top of the gate, and the outer walls' paint that of the actual gate💡. You carry us so well that we almost feel the ambiance! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 14:35- Is that the hotel logo in the actual towel, and not just embroidered on?

Why is travel through the Brandenberg Gate blocked? I've seen numerous B&W videos of the Adlon after Berlin was taken by the Russians. The Hotel was wrecked by bombs, not by a fire accidentally lit by Soviet Forces.

Elephant Fountain was gifted my the Maharaja of Patial in India. I am from the same city where Maharaja lived. Its carved from a single Black stone very artfully with intricate finness and amazing Indian craftsmanship
Beautiful presentation with perfect musical accompaniment!! Loved the flowers, the welcoming gift, the size of your room, and the spa! However, the furnishings in the room still said ' holiday Inn express ' to me. Otherwise, it appears to be quite nice ... Another excellent video, dear LTE!!

I thought that after the Antarctica episodes the Expert had completed the Earth level and started to showcase resorts from other worlds. I was wrong, although some of the reviews shown here seem to show otherworldy places.

When Parliament is not sitting the hotel is available at more reasonable rates. The hotels is superb. However, in true German style the beds are too low and the pillows are so thin on the bed. Nevertheless, it was a delight to stay there for four days.
Great Video, such a nice style! The Adlon is nice, as a city resident i don’t go there that often. But Esszimmer is a spectacularly restaurant! This is the kind of luxury you get in Europe, weather in Paris, London, Berlin or Vienna. The US is what this kind so style belongs a bit behind 🤷🏼♂️
I think the Stue is better. Adlon is more central though. If you want action use the Ritz at Potsdamer Platz. But the stue is unbeaten in terms of service.
if you mean the Michelin-starred restaurant, the prices are on the menus shown (I pause to check). I think it was a multiple-course degustation meal (6 to 8 dishes) and therefore the size of each dish is smaller. It does all add up! It is certainly not cheap, but a two star Michelin restaurant is likely an excellent choice for a treat 🙂
Great video but have some thoughts 1. The hotel corridors looks really horrible, like you are heading to a waiting room for an operation. 2. Loved the dinner meal but I do have to wonder how long this fad of big dishes compared to a small sample of really good food is going to last. It might be like nouvelle quisine again and other trends. Are big plates like the man in his trousers trying to make up for other things? Why do it if the meal tastes good? 3. The breakfast looked great. Then found out it was like a free for all on a cruise ship from your written up summary. Germans need to do better from my summary. And that is a UK person !
At 3:28 you said that the Adlon survived both World Wars unscathed, yet in 1945 a fire started by the Red Army left the building in ruins. Please explain.

24:42 the usual tricks of some "luxury" restaurants around the world. Giant dishes with little food in a very high price. No matter if are part of hotels or independent restaurants. I don't want to hear crap about art (that take the price high) and other excuses. There are wonderful restaurants that they put and enough food on a normal size dish and they make and art with the food on dish with a logical price, but even the expensive dishes there have enough food.
