I think this method works if you have someone else to administer the drops but when it comes to doing it by yourself, wouldn't it be easier to place the dropper into the ear canal so that you can feel it?
Hey Merv, I recommend buying "the clEARDropper" drop delivery device. you just put your ear drops in the the clEARdropper and put the device into your ear. Really difficult to count out ear drops straight from the prescription bottle
Has anyone put ear drops by themselves? I have watched most videos that said never to touch the ear canal with the ear dropper but I find that if you touch the ear canal, that is a good indication that you have place the dropper correctly. Just wondering your opinion?
Nothing will happen If you touch ear canal with dropper, just be careful to get in the right amount and don’t put anything in your ear besides medication
It can cause contamination on the tip of the dropper if it touch’s the ear canal, for instance if you have an ear infection and the tip of the dropper touch’s the ear canal the bacteria can end up on the top of the dropper and make the infection worst
