Life magazine ranks Admiral Cheng Ho as the 14th most important person of the last millennium. Cheng Ho's journey produced Cheng Ho's Navigation Charts which were able to change the world's navigation charts until the 15th century.
In the book there are 24 navigational charts regarding shipping directions, distances at sea, and various ports.
Cheng Ho is an explorer with the largest fleet of ships in world history ever recorded. Apart from that, he was also known as a wise leader, bearing in mind that with such a large fleet he and his men had never colonized any country or region where his fleet was docked.
During their stopover in India including Calcutta, Cheng Ho's men also studied a local martial art called Kallary Payatt which after being developed in China became a branch of Kung Fu martial arts.
