Absolutely. Considering the fact that FAST reserves the right to change its policy anytime. This was the last year's policy for FAST Karachi which could may change this year or may not. Just wait for the official announcement.
No one can predict the merit, however it could be lower this time considering the fact that last time the percentages were higher. But try to score 80 in the test to be on the safe side. It could differ depending upon your marks in Matric/ Inter

BHAi plz reppplyy. IS dafa ECAT ki base par bhi admission ho raha ha fast ma. Mere ECAT ma 294/400 han, which is aloot. Matlab mera UET all campuses ma all programs ma ho raha ha. To kya ECAT base pa FAST Islamabad ma admission ho jaye ga?
For reference, ECAT is the most difficult engineering admission test in Pakistan. AUr mara NET ma bi 150/200 han. TO mara NUST ma bhi ho raha ha. But ma FAST sa CS karna chahta hu.

60s in NTS is low, and you are at the risk of getting into. I'd prefer you to first ask admission department if they are accepting July NTS. On the other hand, FAST ET is a good and better option considering the fact that there are more seats for FAST ET Applicants

Hey Shozab! Im from A levels background and got an equivalence of 89 percent. Fast Entry test is the only option for me to get into Fast NUCES (Islamabad Campus). I wanted to ask how much do i need to get into Fast CS program and what do you think where the merit will close this time. Lastly, one more thing, when do we get to know about our score of the test, the same day or the next day? Thank You
Alright, Haider! I got your question. Considering your equivalency, you have good chances if you score around 75-80 in the FST ET. Moreover, I can't say anything about the merit. Even no one can do it. Even FAST doesn't discloses it. And you will get to know your test marks just after the test, as the test will be online on a computer. From the test marks, you can calculate your aggregate. Officially, the result will be announced a week after the test probably.
I got 49.42% in fsc 1 and 76.76 % in matric which make 27% and if we add 58% of fast et then it will make 56 % overall . last year in faisalabad the merit of cs is around 54% and of ai is around 50% . i have also have supply in fsc 1 in urdu (due to some reasons) alhamdulillah i do good paper of fsc part 2 which help to score 50% marks in fsc and pass in all subject . according to this i got a admissoin in faisalbad campus or not? thank you
@@shozabmehdii but if you see merit in Peshawar campus it is around 45% even around 52/53% in Faisalabad campus. They have shortage of students in these campus so merit is low and they give you a temporary admission on the basic of first year marks ( which is less than 50%) and after the second year result, in which you score above 50%, then your admission will permanent secure in fast if you score in second year less than 50%, then they stuck out you of fast so basically fast, fulfil the demand of HEC, which is 50% mark fsc in cs field Last year, lots of students take admission with 47,48% marks in first year in Faisalabad and peshwar campus, specially in this case, they see the 50% in second year for fulfil the demand of HEC, which is 50% in CS field . You have good chances Masha Allah. But NTS Merit is usually higher than the entry test. Email admission department and ask if you can give entry test as well and the higher one will be considered. Confirm it from them
Being a pre-medical student, you probably have to give extra adv maths exam. Well, email the admission department, they will definitely give you detailed and verified info

You have good chances with NTS. However, try to give FAST ET as well to strengthen your chances of getting into. You have to score around 75+ in the test to be on the safe side

Karachi campus. AI is not that much evolved in the organizations in Pakistan. CS has numerous job opportunities locally and internationally too. Moreover, CS covers everything and is a holistic program. Better to do CS
Yeah. You have fair chances, but merit differs every year and merit of NTS usually goes higher. Therefore, to avoid risk, try to attempt FAST Entry Test as well.

Highest will be considered that means Matric (98 after multiplying it by 0.9). I think you're on a safer side. 60+ in entry test is good to go for you imo, but try your best. Test mein negative marking bhi hoti hai to kaafi marks wahan kat jaate. Best of luck 🤞
