Hey man please don’t be down about not getting videos out or thinking you have some sort of deadline. It’s true people want to see the build videos, but take your time if you need to. You have brought so much to the car audio scene that you should get way more love than people pestering you about speeding up the build or asking for more videos.

Props to you for taking the time to reflect and be able too admit to yourself and others that you can't move forward on your own. My weight had caused me to have issues the last 2 years. Finally this year I admitted my problem to myself and since I opened dialogue and got past embarrassment stage I resided exactly how much support I have. Too bad you aren't in California, it be there in a heartbeat to help you teardown the old stuff.

What I like about your build logs is that because you put them out as you go they are much more in depth and I think that's what I like about you. You're just a regular guy figuring this stuff out as you go. When I found your channel I was looking at how to check my speaker phase and I watched caf pull out some crazy expensive speak phase tester and explained how to use it and then watched your video showing how to do it with a 9v battery.

My wife worked for an addiction treatment program up here in NH for many years. You are not alone, there are so many out there that need help, good people. She saw so many graduate from the program and turn their life around. If your serious man, don't be scared to reach out for help, if not for you, for the ones who love you... your life is worth more than that :(

Wish I lived closer, EXO, I’m 6’2” 260lbs and would love to help. I just finished my budget upgrade and I had the opposite issue you’re having. My size was an issue getting into tight spaces. I’m still recovering from all ThE contorting and bending my giant self had to do to run the wires, sound deaden, and install speakers/subs.

Exo. I live on the other side of this huge freaking planet, Down under. And i like what you are doing. I have rebuild a car from scratch in my back yard took 14 months, And i tell you it's not easy. I had the same feeling "to big to much to hard" What motivated me was watching RU-vid channels like yours, Lifted my spirits to keep going and finish my project. everything done with care takes lots of time. we waited 9 months for the soundman's blowthough,he encountered a lot of problems but just watching a project grow and take form is fantastic,so waiting for yours will not be boring (atleast for me) just keep up with the build and be happy!

Hey EXO, I just thought with your video here I'm inspired to share and relate to you on this one. I also have crohn's (though my size certainly hasn't been effected) so I know where you're coming from on that. However, I am facing a similar problem. I have been into stereos since the late 80's. Through most of the 90's I got much more serious about car stereo and became much more of a bass head. I've done 7 different competition and exhibition vehicles and loved every second of it. My obsession with stereos gained a life of its own through the late 90s into the 2000s and I made a career out of installing Car, Home, and Pro Audio, video and lighting. Well, in July of 2012 (while mowing the grass of all things) my back just went completely out. I was laid out in my back yard for over 4 hours before my now wife came home from work to get me inside. Well, it didn't take long when in October of 2012 I had my first of 3 surgeries fusing first my L5-S1 then L5-L4 and then L4-L3. Now I live every day in pain and needless to say can no longer do any of the things that I love to do and made a career out of. I went through years of full on depression over it. The point of all that was simply to tell you this... 1. I'm super stoked that you are a strong enough person to admit your weakness. It takes a much stronger man to admit weakness than to fuck yourself up being a stubborn ass. If I'd have done that to start with instead of always powering through, I may not be in the situation I am in now. 2. I need you to start getting help with a lot more of the things you do on your own. Don't end up like me. I need people like you to live vicariously through doing the things I no longer can. Side note: I have managed to share my passion with my kids and starting this summer my kids and I are gonna do a build together that will hopefully become my daughter's first car. If all works out with that we plan on doing another build for my son.
For what it's worth, I would much prefer to take the journey with you over waiting until the build is done for videos. And if there's people bitchin about them not coming out fast enough they can do thier own build and see it every day. Fuck a troll anyway.

EXO, try using an air chissel very careful around the walls, ceiling and floors so you don't punch holes in the body of the vehicle. The air hammer/chissel will do wonders on tearing it out. I feel your pain on the whole metabolism issues. I have Ichthyosis which is a semi-rare skin and metabolism disease. It also effects my growth in muscle and weight gain. I wish you were close by because I'd be there in a heart beat to help you out. Anyhow, good luck man and will be rooting for ya and looking out for your future vids man. Helpful tip to remove old material. Use your sawall with a demo blade and cut 8 - 10 inch widths either horizantal or vertical which every is more comfortable for you then remove by sections. Cross cut if needed. Like your making a tic-tac-toe board. Let the saw work for you. Try not to pick up the sledge hammer until your just knocking off what is attached to the body. Hope this helps. I use this method in my line of work because I'm a small guy too.

The only people rushing is the people who have never done a build! Something this big you have to take your time and plan everything out, especially with filming the build! I couldn't even imagine. Take your time and get it done write, I wish I lived closer so I could help.

Your videos are very enjoyable and it doesn’t matter how long projects take. Take your time on it... it will be worth the wait. Hey brother I wish I was closer man I'm a disabled veteran and would love to spend some time learning and helping out man . Can't wait to see the final product.
I feel ya on a build taking a long time. Mine for the Zv.5 18's in my wagon is seemingly taking forever. 99% of the new 4th is in, so in the next few days, going to be getting back inside of it and making it 100% smoothed out and touching up what's already been painted since I have plex windows on each side when you open the back doors. After that, run all the wires for the switches to the relays, then adding duct work for the ventilation with the fans, then finally fab up the trim panels to close off everything in the back. Once that's done, then all (6) amps, cock box and fuse blocks can be mounted, ALL the wires added, add trim panels sealing it off from the front, THEN it'll be complete.
Just take your time.. don't feel rushed or pressed.. your creating one of installations and designs by yourself as where most corporate companies can't do with 1000's of men.. it's the process of being unique and that's why I watch your videos and get inspired and have a good laugh sometimes lol but I love what your doing and if it takes a while it takes a while.. it's a process.. i wish I was local I'd be there in a heartbeat to help you tear out or whatever cause we all have our limits that's why we try n help each other out.. hope you figure it all out I know I'm looking forward to your future videos and some of the crazy amazing things you do lol
