Subhanallah, mind blowing ! These are the miracles of the Quran. Brother Adnan thank you for sharing all of this information. Thank you Paul for sharing this video.
Great stuff. I would just add one more thing. It's very important to note that Qur'an primarily was transmitted orally especially early on. So just imagine all these subtle details in speech. Just try to record your speech and write it down and see how unsophisticated it is and now imagine a guy in Arabia in 7th century just saying these things. Hopefully that helps you identify the miracle of this book even more.
@@hussainomar1729 (89) Then, he followed a course (90) Until he reached the rising of the sun. He found it rising over a people for whom we had made no covering from it (91) Likewise. And We had encompassed all that he had with knowledge How can anybody reach the rising of the sun? Since Dhu’l Qarnayn could not travel over waters nor could he fly as he stopped at the place where he saw the sun setting in a muddy pool, how can he reach the place of sunrise? ."وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ" (We (Allah) placed firmly embedded mountains on the earth, so it would not move under them…). Surah: 21, Verse: 31. The earth still moves, rotates and revolves. If by earth Allah means land, then even that is false. As the mountains are formed by the plates coming over eachother with force. So, there existed land with mountains yet to be formed in past. And no, earth did not go anywhere then. Also, many planets exist which do not have mountains yet do not fly away anywhere. It is sun's gravity which keeps earth in its orbit. ." أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًا، وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا" (Have We (Allah) not made the earth as a bed or a cradle? @@TheWatchmanWebsite I am very happy for sharing me your words I read some parts of your first comment and your two comments really are very long And I had recorded some notes for reply and I am still doing that..
1:-Why Allah Needs Our Prayers ? Allah, exalted He, ordered us to pray to Him because He is worthy of worship. And He, exalted He, is the self sufficient, and He, exalted He, didn't order us to pray to Him because He needs our prayers! Rather, it is we who need those prayers to our God. And If all the people on earth blasphemy Allah that won't harm Him, and If all the people on earth believed in Allah that won't benefit Him. 2:-Why An All Knowing God Needs to Test His Own Creations ? Because of His wisdom that no one of the creation knows it except Him alone. And If you read the last chapter of Surah "S'ad" you'll find it refer to the great matter that the highest Pler*ma were arguing about the purpose of creation of Adam, and Allah, exalted He, ended this Surah about that matter in a verse that says, "You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” Allah, exalted He, had told and showed us enough proves that only refers to Him as God and Creator, and that the most important thing we need to know it in the test of this life, but the wisdom of creating us actually I don't know, but I believe that God will bless His servants in the next life and telling them (hope all of us be among them) His wisdom from creating us.

Paul! It would be interesting if you made a video about early Muslim converts/reverts. Some of them were as early as 7th century and some authentic narrations were recorded by them/for them. The likes of Salman al Farisi (previously zoroastrian them christian), Abdullah ibn Salam (Previously Jewish)…etc.
Because nobody can produce such a work. The Quran is perfect because Allah is perfect. Time and space does not apply to Allah. Therefore Allah is outside the limitations of creation

Subhanallah. Excellent topic brother Paul from an equally brilliant scholar. Just to add if I may on Egyptology..the Quran referred to the ruler of Egypt in Moses times accurately as Fir'aun and not Pharaoh. Another subtle hint that the Quran comes from the divine Creator. Misr was not a name given to Egypt until recently. Egypt=land of Kipt Misr must be another place Fir’avn can be a private name. Mummies were very common in southern Arabia. There is not a single story about an Egyptian king who is drown with his whole army. We have look to other places.
Two other examples of names and their meaning included in the ayah: 19:2 ˹This is˺ a reminder/mention of your Lord’s mercy to His servant Zachariah, "thikru rahmati rabbika" = Zachar/Remembers Ya/God 11:71 And his wife was standing by, so she laughed,1 then We gave her good news of ˹the birth of˺ Isaac, and, after him, Jacob. Dhahikat/she laughed = YiShaq/Isaac/ He laughs Also, brother Adnan mentions that Sa'eer is a mountainous range in Palastine, however, there are two Sa'eers. There is the famous mountainous range in the Edom region known today as Jabal ash-sharah. Then there is Sa'ir mountain in Palestine near Sa'ir city: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sa%27ir The mountain in Palestine is also mentioned in the bible in other verses and I think it's a much better candidate for the prophecy. It's actually in Palestine and it's one mountain and that area is also known for their figs and olives. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Seir The Wikipedia article mentions the two locations.

Salamun Aleykum. Great video!, since you and Adnan are also discussing some verses in Surah Maryam. Id like to pick both of your brains a little, I hope you would indulge us (everyone else in the discussion) with an open mind and with the primary intent to seek for the truth wherever it will take us, as its kinda controversial. I'll start by sharing my understanding of the disctinctions between Rasool (Messenger) & Nabiyy (Prophet). - A rasool is a person bearing a message from God (Scripture) and Nabiyy is one who executes the message, sort of like putting it into practice. So I believe its possible for an individual to be a prophet only and not a messenger. But its not possible to only be a messenger and not a nabiyy, otherwise how are the people going to figure out the divine scripture? - what are your thoughts?. Additionally, I also believe, only Rasool is Maksum (free from mistakes) to protect the accuracy of the message, but a nabiyy is not free from mistakes as you will find mistakes they made in both the Quraan as well as some hadiths, what do u think?. Next, id like to draw your attention to the ayat below that describes Ismael as both a messenger and a prophet, which begs the question, if this is true, why have we not heard about Ismails scripture? then there's another problem, with Ibrahim, considering he is Ismails father. If Ibrahim is both a rasool & nabiyy and so is Ismail then we have 2 messengers pretty much at the same location at the same time - redundant message if its the same, and confusing if its different. (I personally believe that Ibrahim is a only a nabiyy and not a rasool - Im still in my quest for truth about this tho). My conclusion is that given Ismail is described as both Rasool & Nabiyy, he could not possibly be the son of Ibrahim. Also, if you consider the next ayat, when Allah describes that he enjoins salah & zakat, I have not across Ibrahim or Ismail described as doing that, I dunno? Finally, if I take all the descriptions in both ayats, I believe Allah is describing "Ismail" as someone else and I'm positive its Muhammad s.a.w.- If the conclusion that I made is correct, can you imagine the implications (focus on the positive new perspectives :) )? I look forward to an open discussion about this, for truth. And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakāh and was to his Lord pleasing [i.e., accepted by Him]. - Saheeh International Notice the distinction, Allah only says Nabiyy for Idrees. 19:56 وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. - Saheeh International
Well Adnan was right, my mind definitely blown!! Quick google search of the name John: "The Name John is derived from the hebrew Yohanan, meaning "graced by God". WOW. And Surah 19, verse 13 uses a similar word in arabic to describe "Yahya" or "John". "wa ḥananan (and affection/grace/tenderness) min (from) la dunna (us) " "and compassion from us" compassion/grace/affection/tenderness....synonyms. Not only is the Arabic version of "john" used subtly in the verse, but it's used in a way that accurately describes what that name means. The reason "Yu" or "Yo" is missing in the arabic version is because in hebrew that translates to God or jehovah. The quran only uses the "hananan" to identify the "grace" and adds the "from us" later using min la dunna" And like Adnan said, this word is only used once in the quran and for specific reference to Yahya/John. Coincidence? I think not.
This is why we Muslims need to be educated first to fend off liers. You see dishonest people claim how Quran said name John wasn't given to anyone else before but historically there were so Quran must be false. But in reality the translator translated YahYa name as Jon for uniformity, they should not have done that. The name YahYa wasn't given to anyone so Quran is right. Then disbelievers might say YahYa didn't exist then? Answer is yes, YahYa and John are are same person. Question is why such difference in name? It's because in Judaism and Christianity he is know as is given name. If you look at India, many historical figures are almost unknown by their real name but well known by the given name that people gave them. Like Mahatma Ghandi, Mahatma isn't a name but his quality of being someone with big heart. The same way John comes from Yonhanan, which means something along the line of purity..So when Quran said no one was given that name it meant YahYa not the given name Yohanan

A number of classical commentaries of the Quran mention the opinion that the word Badan (بَدَنِ) is used for the body armour Firoun was wearing. فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً “So Today, we will save you with your BADAN so that you will be a sign for those after” Al Qurtabi according to one opinion mentions that the body of Pharaoh washed up on the shore in front of Bani Israel while he was still ALIVE . So he was saved but now in the hands of Children of Israel. This was his final and greatest humiliation. This opinion is plausible if we accept that the Pharaoh that drowned in the Nile River ( Al -Yamm)was his successor. It should be noted: 1. That the events of Musa AS and Firoun occurred over many decades 2. Firoun- is a title ( for the leader ) and not a name of an individual so all Pharaohs would be called Firoun and the Quran likely mentioned more than one at different time frames.
Blogging theology , Asalamu alaykum. I would like to ask Adnan Rashid a number of Questions: 1. If the ayah was alluding to mummification should not the other preserved Pharaohs be mentioned rather than just the one that drowned. 2. The ayah clearly mentions that Allah would " save " him using the plural of majesty "WE". But mummification is a process undertaken by man, unless we are to accept that those who mummified the body were inspired by Allah. 3. Is mummification, as a sign by Allah SWT for future generations, an exact fulfilment of the ayah? If for example we were to find a body in the sea/ river of the pharaoh perfectly preserved ( as if he drowned today), would this not be what we would expect ? why/why not?
Great video as usual. A few things Br Adnan missed out about ancient Egypt. 1. Quran, 44:29, and the heaven and earth wept not for them nor were they reprieved. This is a rebuke of an Egyptian prayer that goes like this; The sky weeps for thee; the earth trembles for thee… when thou ascendest to heaven as a star, as the morning star 2. Ramesses' son Merneptah died as a result of drowning. 3. The Quran mentions Haman as a person who was close to pharaoh and was ordered to build a tower. Hamun was the title of the chief stone Mason in ancient Egypt
Interesting that the ant that makes the proclamation to the others in the story of Solomon is female, ie. Qaalat al-nimlatu. It is unusual to use the female form of the word in Arabic. But it is indeed the female ant that warns the ant colony of impeding danger, not the male. We only know this very recently in the study of ants.

What makes The Quran a miracle is accurate prophecies. Christianity will never disappear and will keep dividing into sects. _And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a good part of that which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Judgement. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do._ (Al Quran, The Feast, 14) The Quran predicts the location of the Jewish state. _[We told you (Children of Israel)], "If you do good, it will be for your own benefit, but if you do bad, it will be against your souls. When the prophecy of your second transgression will come to pass, sadness will cover your faces. They (your enemies) will enter the mosque as they did the first time to bring about utter destruction._ (Al Quran, The Night Journey, 07)

MashaAllah, excellent video brothers. JazakumAllahu khayr. Here are some more remarkable insights: The Quran displays a very deep understanding regarding the meaning of names. Here are some examples: 1- Gabriel is a theophoric name and it means: "Strength from/of God"/"God is my strength"/"Strong warrior/man of God". The name emphasizes strength. Allah SWT says: "Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the Word of ˹Allah delivered by Gabriel,˺ a noble messenger-angel (i.e. Gabriel PBUH), *full of power* , held in honour by the Lord of the Throne," Quran 81: 19-20 and Allah SWT says: "It is not but a revelation revealed, *Taught to him by one intense in strength (i.e., Gabriel)* -" Quran 53: 4-5 2- Zechariah means "God remembers" and according to Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon it means "whom Jehovah remembers". Allah SWT says: " *˹This is˺ a reminder* of your Lord’s mercy to His servant Zachariah," Quran 19: 2 3- Ishmael is a theophoric name and it means: "God hears"/"God hearkens"/"God answers my prayers". Abraham PBUH made du'a to Allah SWT for a righteous son Quran 37:100-101. He later thanked Allah SWT by saying the following: "All praise is for Allah who has blessed me with *Ishmael* and Isaac in my old age. *My Lord is indeed the Hearer of ˹all˺ prayers.* " Quran 14: 39 When Abraham and Ishmael PBUT were building the Ka'ba, they made the following du'a, Allah SWT says: "And ˹remember˺ when *Abraham* raised the foundation of the House *with Ishmael* , ˹both praying,˺ “Our Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. *You are indeed the All-Hearing* , All-Knowing." Quran 2: 127 4- Isaac means: "one who laughs". Jacob means: "to follow". Isaac's mother laughed and was given the good news of Isaac PBUH followed by Jacob PBUH. Allah SWT says: "And his wife was standing by, so *she laughed* , then We gave her good news of ˹the birth of˺ *Isaac* , and, *after him, Jacob* ." Quran 11: 71 "It is He who has sent among the unlettered [Arabs] a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and wisdom [i.e., the sunnah] - although they were before in clear error - along with others of them who have not yet joined them ˹in faith˺. For He is the Almighty, All-Wise." Quran 62: 2-3 (verse 3 is also a prophecy). There is a nice book about this called The Onomastic Miracle In The Quran. Also, in regards to the prophecy in Deuteronomy 33:2 and Surah At-Tin, the following is mentioned in Tafsir Ibn Kathir on Surah At-Tin: "Some of the Imams have said that these are three different places, and that Allah sent a Messenger to each of them from the Leading Messengers, who delivered the Great Codes of Law. The first place is that of the fig and the olive, which was Jerusalem, where Allah sent ‘Isa bin Maryam PBUH. The second place is Mount Sinin, which is Mount Sinai where Allah spoke to Musa bin ‘Imran PBUH. The third place is Makkah, and it is the city of security where whoever enters is safe. It is also the city in which Muhammad PBUH was sent. *They have said that these three places are mentioned at the end of the Tawrah. The verse says, ‘Allah has come from Mount Sinai - meaning the one upon which Allah spoke to Musa bin ‘Imran PBUH; and shined from Sair - meaning the mountain of Jerusalem from which Allah sent ‘Isa PBUH; and appeared from the mountains of Faran - meaning the mountains of Makkah from which Allah sent Muhammad PBUH.’ Thus, He mentioned them in order to inform about them based upon their order of existence in time. This is why He swore by a noble place, then by a nobler place, and then by a place that is the nobler than both of them.* " Interestingly, the following is mentioned in the Talmud: "The nations will say before God: Master of the Universe, did You give us the Torah and we did not accept it? Since we never received the Torah, why are we being judged for not fulfilling its mitzvot? The Gemara asks: And can one say that they were never offered the Torah? But isn’t it written in the description of the giving of the Torah: “And he said: The Lord came from Sinai, and rose from Seir unto them” (Deuteronomy 33:2), and it is written: “God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran” (Habakkuk 3:3). *And the Sages asked: What did God require in Seir and what did He require in Paran? The Torah was not given in those locations. And Rabbi Yoḥanan says: This teaches that the Holy One, Blessed be He, took the Torah around to every nation and those who speak every language, such as the Edomites in Seir and the Ishmaelites in Paran, but they did not accept it, until He came to the Jewish people and they accepted it.* If the other nations all rejected the Torah, how can they excuse themselves by claiming that it was never offered to them?" Avodah Zarah 2b: 12-13 Notice how their explanation does not make sense because the text clearly indicates a *successful revelation* as it states that God (i.e. His revelation and guidance) “ *SHONE FORTH* from Mount Paran” Deut. 33:2 etc.
