just to make it clear, she performed this song every time on the world tour live. And nailed it. So for everyone wondering if this can be performed live, as someone who was on one concert i can tell you, YES SHE CAN.

In case you haven't heard it yet: "Osmanthus" is my top Ado song not because of it's technicality but because it's beautiful and is the first Ado song that I heard before she exploded in fame. 🌸

I got to see Ado perform this masterpiece live on her world tour and let me tell you that she was able to hit every single note on this song without any trouble! Ado is a true vocal phenomenal!

Something I haven't seen anyone comment on is how deliciously unsatisfying the ending is. She goes from this primal scream, about to show you the depths of who she really is, and then she cuts it off and goes back to that angelic voice for the last note. It's an incredible artistic choice.

i'm pretty sure ado records completely alone in the studio. she doesn't like it when a director gets to determine when to stop takes, and usually wants to further perfect it long after others would have moved on
