Yup you called it. You don't have to understand the language for your heart to hear what's important. Ado is a vocal monster. She is the kind of vocalist that embodies any character that is needed for the song, and she can sing the hell out of anything thrown at her.

Ado is such a young (only 21 years old) and talented artist Her music is unique and has distinct personal traits. TK was the original composer of this song, and he created it for the "Tokyo Ghoul" animated version OP "Tokyo Ghoul" is a dark fantasy comic about monsters that look like humans but eat human "Ghoul" in the modern Tokyo stage. The story is about the protagonist, who was originally a human, but unexpectedly became a 'ghoul', struggling to survive between two races and experiencing conflicts between species. The lyrics reflect the protagonist's mood. It can be seen that Ado fully immerses emotions in the song, even if you don't understand the lyrics Strongly recommend you to respond to her debut "Usseewa"(only 17 years old at the time)

I'm seriously glad You have reacted to Ado! She's an absolute master of her unique voice and with every song that she creates or covers she's getting better and better with it- I could say she "unravels" her voice more and more! "Uravel" is an Opening song to Tokyo Ghoul made by a man called TK and his One Take is great as well! Speaking about Ado- she's an "Utaite" which means despite her amazing singing ability she never reveals her face to public. She has her own avatar that looks like long dark haired girl with blue eyes and that's it. 😉I seriously ADOre her and hope that You will react to her original first song Usseewa! Great reaction! 😃

This is a cover! The original is by TK and is the opening theme for the anime Tokyo Ghoul! You should really check out the original aswell, it's one of the most famous anime openings out there! If you want to check out more Ado i'd recommend Show of Ussewa!

My personal favourites from Ado are: Fleeting Lullaby, Backlight, Ibara, All Night Radio, Show, Ready Made, FREEDOM, and Crime and Punishment (cover). The new-ish song DIGNITY, is also very beautiful. Ado is all about the vocal mastery, freedom of expression, and transmission of emotion. She just hits you so hard aurally and emotionally. Even if you have no idea what the lyrics are, you just know what she's singing about. She'll also sing pretty much any kind of song, so you never get bored being an Ado fan.

ado is a vocalist who sings VOCALOID songs called "utaite", but ado does not write or compose the songs. ado publishes original songs and cover songs on RU-vid. This song is a cover song. ado sings live with vocal arrangements added. The original version of this song is difficult to cover, and it is so famous that it can be called a legend, so I was hoping that ADO would cover it. I think that's the reason for the unusual reaction from the audience. Ado Cover always exceeds expectations.

TK did a fantastic job creating this great song. The way ADO brings the feelings and emotions of the main character of the story to the front and center of the song is nothing short of amazing. It makes me actually feel the fear, anxiety, pain, rage, sorrow, and loneliness the character goes through in the story. The main character has a major internal struggle with one side being the gentle and caring human while the other side is an instinctive hunter of food (humans) that desperately needs to rampage with no regard to the human species. The constant battle in his mind is brought to life with this rendition of the already great song.

Love Ado! She has so much texture and emotion in her vocal style, not to mention an undeniable talent. I definitely recommend pretty much everything from her. Some of my favs: Tot Musica, Ussewa, Crime and Punishment, Odo, Blacklight, Show, I'm a Controversy. There's many more and I really don't think I heard anything from here that's less than fantastic, but those are my top songs from her, I think.

I feel that many people don't know why she sings in this way. Please search for 'Tokyo Ghoul' and 'TK unravel'. This song was written for the anime (manga) series Tokyo Ghoul and portrays the emotions of its protagonist. Once you understand the content of the anime and the meaning of the lyrics, you will understand why she sings with such intense and raw emotions and will feel that this way of singing is appropriate.

Watching this performance exhausts me, like the first time you paused I was out of breath with tears streaming down my face, absolutely gripping. I have a vivid memory of being made to perform for a group as a kid and the only way they calmed me down was to put up a curtain for me to play behind, so I have a soft spot for performers like her or maynard or gorillaz etc who need a bit less focus from the crowds but still wanting to do it live for them

Small correction. Unravel is a song by TK (Toru Kitajima from Ling Tosite Sigure). Tk exists in a realm different from everyone imo and Ado is reaching into that realm. That being said, I actually think Ado's version (specially the live version) is way better than TKs.

Unravel is a amazing song and the original was done by TK for the anime Tokyo Ghoul. So this is Ado covering the song. I would highly, highly recommend listening to Ado's original songs, Show is a recent song she put out and is amazing, another amazing cover of she did is Aishite Aishite Aishite. Again I'd highly recommend listening to some of her other music because Unravel doesn't showcase the full breath of what Ado can do, and nothing against Unravel, it's beautiful, but Ado is unbelievably expressive, and diverse in her singing.

This song was the opening from the anime "Tokyo Ghoul". In where the main character became a ghoul, but is suffering because he was half human and half ghoul too. Stuck in where he understands the both worlds of human and a ghoul. So as a tokyo ghoul fan, Ado's cover on this song really made me cry. PS: TK was the one who wrote this.

Fun fact: This is the opening of an anime that is really popular way back then and my favorite anime opening songs The song especially the scream is what the protagonist of the anime "Tokyo ghoul" felt when it's too heavy for him to carry the weight of the new world he lives in and it all burst out when his human friend died ( well he didn't die ) he just thought he did. I literally cried when i heard the scream it has the same emotional vibes as of The original singer TK plus the additional screams make it more emotional like "Tokyo ghoul" had a special part in her heart.

obligatory listen to Show, Godish Cover, Tot Musica, Odo and finally but arguably maybe the most importantly Usseewa (the song that you could say pushed her to the front of our views). I mean you could say her parts in One Piece Red the Movie was huge but she got there because of the popularity of usseewa and others songs. With that said, scroll through her stuff and picking what looks good is awesome too.
