Yes it can be done. Loop through the swatches collection and inspect the name property of each. Check the name for the text you're looking for. If it matches, remove the swatch, or whatever else you want to do with the swatch. This is similar to the Layers tutorial (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sgDKNQZfeI4.html). Only difference is you want to look at the swatches collection instead of the layers collection. I can make another tutorial showing examples.
It is possible to remove only unused swatches, I will find my code soon and post it. If doing that, it will only delete and select what is not used and still able to be deleted.
From what I understand Adobe Animate does not support ExtendScript. It has its own JS-based scripting language, which I am not familiar with. My area of expertise is ExtendScript.
