Fantastic version of this song... one of the great rock/punk classics. Lead guitarist is awesome and the drummer absolutely cooks in this version A++++
I live just around the corner... My favourite leisure bike ride goes through "Schwarze Heide", next to the field where this happened in '08. Saw Scream, D.I., NoFX in my hometown Marl in the early Nineties... but I missed THIS... DAMN!!!!
I remember when I first heard this song, in like 1982ish- changed playing punk, for me. Even after I was done paying in bands, this is still in regular rotation in my house. :)
oh cool, Soto on guitar instead of bass. I've heard him play on CJ Ramones' 2014 album where he played rhythm guitar on all the tracks. Also, Derrick O'Brien on drums, he's always kicked ass. One of the best live versions of this song, well played & recorded.
3min. 45 seconds in... tell me that guy isn't still loving it!! They're laughing at each-other and have a great time. Negative comments are just... wow dumb
Damn, this song rules. Takes me back to a more hardcore, dangerous and awesome time, a time when rock n roll kicked ass. Well, at least the non mainstream rock. ......hey! I surprised you don't have to wear a seatbelts at shows like this yet and make the bands turn crazy racket down , too dangerous, someone could get hurt. Kids today couldn't have handled us punks at there age. Playing this type music back in the day could end in violence on you or by you
Just bought demo s and on sick colour vinyl now this is a highly underated band only thing close back in the day was the dickies but these guys are faster peace and love lloydy
Yup I fuckin love this shit! I love mucho "punk rock" from the 70's - 90's! (It's called being open minded for all you weirdos that feel they have to stay "true" to one era of "Punk") To ME, "punk" is what I say it is... before the 70's there were tuns of bands I could label them that PR, but I just chose to use different words... ANYWAY, These old school guys never said they were gonna quit and never come back no matter what. Shit.. the DESCENDANTS are coming to my town!! lol It probably pays the damn bills a bit these days too.. GOOD FOR THEM. That's NOT selling out boys and girls. Now Lagwagon members are close to if not 50 years old and they have the lyric "I'll never be Ozzy on stage when I'm 50!!". LoL poor guys might regret saying that because I don't see them quitting anytime soon. LAST: There is a full length HOB show of the Adolescents on here too in case you missed it some how. Much love to all!!
OK, that's Tony. But is that Rikk? Who else is there? It's been decades for me, but I'm pretty damn sure that;s nearly no one save Tony singing. I do agree that it's a damn good performance, one that makes me wince and know I'm still angry even as I'm fukken olde
Joe Harrison on lead, very rare move of Steve Soto from bass to rhythm, Warren Renfrow from the Cadillac Tramps on bass, Derek O'Brien from Soc. D. on drums. Steve and Tony are the only Blue Album people.
@@PunkturesGuyI just saw them in Dallas a few months ago open for circle jerks/descendents. Going to see them Tuesday in Dallas open for strung out! Tony is my hero!
