Rylen was only six years old when his parents noticed that his hips did not align properly and that he could not stand up straight. Rylen thought that his standing posture was not strange because he was used to the misalignment in his spine.

After moving to another state, a different doctor prescribed a Providence brace for nighttime use only because of the hot temperatures in the city during the day. After treating Rylen for two weeks, his curve reduced from 46 degrees to 29 degrees using various tools from a tailored, conservative treatment approach.
These results showed Rylen and his family that his condition wouldn't be putting any limits in his life, giving him a boost of confidence to keep working with Dr. Nalda at the Scoliosis Reduction Center.
