Yes, lots of adult dogs also need homes, and we have fostered senior dogs as well. We’ve ended up adopting them and giving them lots of love for the remainder of their life. But, now, our current resident dog has some anxiety and quirks, so it’s safer and easier to foster puppies at the moment. Believe it or not, there are tons of puppies that also get neglected and turn into those adult dogs that need a home… so you are still helping to save an dog in need no matter what age you foster or adopt.
