If he’s hungry but even playing up when it comes to taking his milk ignore him. Allowing him to behave like this is not healthy at all, for anyone in that house. He’s growing up learning that negative behaviour gets him all the attention he wants. 🤦🏼♀️
He's practically an INFANT. You re watching how mobile he is, and thinking he's comparable to a human toddler. He's not. He's a BABY. He needs to be rewarded and loved just for being there, just like a human baby. It's too soon to start expecting him to behave with a maturity that is well beyond his years. And it would've been a lot more adorable watching him interacting with the doll, if I hadn't just been watching him have his milk taken away and given to another, and as usual, over and again try to go to his "mom" for the CONTACT which is all a baby monkey knows of love, and be rejected, shoved back to where the camera wanted him. At least she did cuddle him at the end. I HAVE seen much worse from these 2, with this baby. I've been reserving my judgement about a lot of what I see on these channels. Idk, I CAN'T know, what goes on off-camera. And I can see room for a number of different opinions on the ethics of WHAT I CAN SEE, AND CAN BE CERTAIN OF. Don't forget among other things that these things are extremely overpopulated. And the state of "nature" that they're living in when they're not in people's homes like this has already been vastly and irrevocably altered by us humans. I'm not so sure that a "hands off" policy w/r/t them is either natural or ethical. But. I just started watching this channel a couple of days ago, and I already want to find these people and BEAT them severely. And make it so that they can never have another baby of ANY species. All those vids of these babies in the "wild", with these ridiculous, overly dramatic (and generally highly misleading) captions about monkey moms doling out "abuse" and "torture" and "millions crying for little baby" cuz their moms are so terrible - I have never seen one of them play cruel psychological games with their babies. I've seen them not allow the babies to nurse, and sometimes get rough, there apparently being at times no other way to get the little bastards off of the teat. Usually these are healthy babies, and from what I've read, the babies are likely nursing all night long while the moms are sleeping. I've seen them discipline their young for other things, too; I don't know exactly what's what, but I do know that the babies have a LOT to learn about how to live in these highly regimented, hierarchical societies, and it's almost all up to the moms to teach them. And it IS literally life and death if they don't learn these things. So again, I reserve judgment w/r/t what there really is (as opposed to the ridiculous captioning) that appears overly rough. But all of that is pretty direct and straightforward. They may some of them sometimes BE a bit psycho. (Which could with some be related to experiences with humans in their formative years.) But they don't play these psycho games. I feel so sorry for poor little Donal. I'm also starting to wonder where he is now. These vids are 2 years old. Apparently many of them (the baby monkeys, that is), as they're reaching sexual maturity, start to become wild and uncontrollable again, and then get dumped in the woods. I'm wondering just how psycho this little guy is by now after having suffered all of this real emotional abuse. Is he already dead, having been abandoned and being too f'ed up to make it in a troop? Did he not even make it that far? - did someone decide that he had to just be put down? If anyone knows the answer to this, I'd really appreciate it. In the meantime I'm going to try not to reward these a-holes by watching too much of their channel. And I guess I'll hope for the best for this poor little guy - whatever that may be.

Even if that primate tries drink and play on his own...the big monkey keeps hugging and kissing him not allow him to do anything... and that’s why he is turning out to be very stubborn and throwing temper tantrums...just let them be...
You kidding i have yet to see any of these monkey families actually hug these babies even feeding them newborn they very seldom hold them close to them they hold them at arms length idk why but they never hug or cuddle them an you know they are cuddled to their moms chest for a long time after they are born almost 24/7 an that has to be a great lost specially for newborns

He’s bright eyed doesn’t seem frightened of his owners or doped up like some of them keep their monkeys, but he’s a nightmare no matter how they try to placate him. Even compared to how much milk he’s given and what the abusive owners give their monkeys he’s fed well. You never see him with sores on his body like those other unfortunate monkeys. He’s cuddled and loved and taken out and given toys to play with. He’s got it good in comparison to the other macaques that have been stolen from their mothers. If he belonged to Sovans disgusting abusive owners I don’t think he would be alive for very long.
Why do you have monkeys? He runs to you so you would hold him and, you always push him away. Your not a very nice or kind person. You get your jollies upsetting the little monkey.

This isn't a discipline issue though. This is owners not realizing that them teasing him is causing undue stress. Macaques are notorious for being pains in the ass and throwing fits, I know I have a four year old who was a handful, but she was also a rescue, from people like this who meant well, but had no clue what they were doing.
It’s not funny that u tease him with a doll. If u don’t want to take care of them properly, leave them where they are. This is said and you guys laugh. I think should be treated the same way you treat him. He’s a cute baby, please treat him better.
That's why it's so incredibly stupid and irresponsible to have these monkeys around human babies and children. The monkey will get jealous and resent the child and attack and bite it and steal milk or food from them. They're such greedy little bullies. They need to be shown that they are not in charge and put in their place. Especially if there are children in the house.
He isn’t so little for a monkey ... mom would have already tried weening him ... he has teeth, he can eat food .. he is throwing tantrums... he would be begging for milk if he were with his mom and probably wouldn’t get any !
