It's hard to believe that it has been almost four years since 'Joeymania' captured the curiosity and hearts of so many people around the world. It was quite an experience, but one thing remains: our knowledge and understanding of sea otters. As always, a big thank you to everyone involved in Joey's rescue, care, and development. It was an incredible, and welcome distraction during the pandemic period 👍
I must honestly say that the Vancouver Aquarium in Canada is doing a fantastic job with Joey and all the rescued Otter pups. This video was really touching and heartwarming at the same time to see him be giving a chance at living a healthy long life. Go!!!! Joey !!! routing for ya!! keep getting strong baby!!! Joey has no idea how many people love him; I know watching him brings a lot of joy and happiness to others as much as it does to me. Thank you to all the staff at the aquarium for taking such great care of him!
This makes me cry every time I watch it. Especially now that Joey is 4 months old and THRIVING! One thank you will never be enough to everyone who has had a part in Joey's rescue and rehabilitation! ♥️

Oh it’s our Joey!! Seeing you gone from the live-stream has absolutely shattered our hearts. We are so happy that you have grown big and strong enough to move into a larger area, but we will truly miss your presence in our lives. You have come to be a bright beautiful light in the darkest of times. Even though we may no longer be able to watch you grow, we will love and support you always. Continue to be the happy, wiggly sea otter that we know you to be. Thank you to everyone who has cared for and loved him along the way ❤️
K A Thank you so much!! I saw that he still spends time in his crib every so often, but is slowly spending more and more time in the larger holding area. I also heard that a camera may be placed in the larger holding area as well, which I am supremely grateful for! So excited to continue to watch him grow 🙌🏼

OMG is Joey! He is growing a lot! I watch him every day, the marine mammal rescue centre and the Vancouver Aquarium Are doing a great work of taking care of Joey!

He was sooooo little! I LOVE this sweet little guy! Everyone involved with his care has done an excellent job!! He’s a thriving, happy, healthy little guy!!
I haven't been able to keep up with him as often as I would like but I do still check on his progress, he's grown so big and strong and now has a new otter friend
Seeing Joey look so tired and a bit listless at the beginning, and knowing that he was alone on a beach is heartbreaking. However, it's GREAT that he was found, received care, and is now a playful little boy! Watching Joey grow and now seeing him play with his friends on the webcam has been an absolute delight. To those who found and took care of Joey (and work hard caring for all the other creatures) - keep it up! I hope to visit your aquarium someday.
I too watch Joey every day. It is awesome to see him growing constantly, under the fantastic care of the MMRC and the Vancouver Aquarium Vets and Vet Techs. Each and every one of you are doing a wonderful job looking after these incredible animals. THANK YOU!!💗 Waves 👋 hello to Joey 😀
Been watching Joey's live cam now a few days and just saw this clip. Emotional. Thank goodness they found him and now, he's taken care of and loved 24/7.

dang allergies..... I have watched this pup online since they started broadcasting live. I cannot begin to tell you how happy this has made me. I also symbolically adopted this sweet and personable baby. He, along with his caretakers, are truly so heartwarming to watch.
