You're the first person I've seen review any Polene bag in this mauve color: I purchased my Polene Numero Neuf mini in mauve a few weeks ago in the NYC store for my birthday! I was originally considering buying the larger sized Numero Neuf in the black or the blush, but when they released the the mauve color, I knew I had to get it. Like you, I couldn't stop thinking about it! The main reason I hesitated about buying the bag was because of the narrow opening, but I realized that it made more sense to get the smaller size because the larger size also features a narrow opening and can become a bit of a black hole since it's hard to see inside of the bag.

Hi lovely! Congrats for your birthday and choosing such a nice present 💜 I understand the feeling “I have to get it” when seeing such a beautiful colour released:) And true, the larger version has a tiny opening too, many reviews mention the bag becoming a “black hole”. Having used the mini now for a week I actually got used to the opening and it doesn’t bother me the way it did when I first saw it. And it doesn’t frel like a black hole, I find my stuff quickly. What about you?:)

Hi @@lingscookingescapade - I would say 8:00 shows the best how the bag looks like in summer daylight, outside. But I intentionally filmed in both daylight and evening light, because this colour looks a bit different in each light. In the afternoon it looks more intense than during the day. But a cold shade of lilac, with grey undertone in any case! Hope it helps:)

@@lingscookingescapade The true color of the bag is kind of between the way it looks in the evening and daylight parts of the video. The bag looks more blue-ish in the evening view than it does in real life, but the color IRL is a bit stronger than it is in the daylight view. The bag is definitely a lilac color.

You are so welcome 💜As for bigger version of Neuf keep in mind that the opening will still be narrow for it's size, hence many say the bag then feels like a "black hole". But quality & design of the Polene bags is stunning, hope you find a right one for you! Love your videos by the way, xx

Hi lovely, I’m so glad my review was helpful 💜 It’s such a delicate and cool combo of design and colour that I also couldn’t resist. Hope you enjoy yours when it arrives! And by the way I hot used to the narroe opening after a month and as for mini bag although that part is not perfect but it’s ok.

I am torn between this colour and the peach one. Which do you think stands out IRL?

Hi, the peach one looks great! I think they are different in a way that lilac one has a grayish, cold undertone and peach one looks better combined with warm colours, it’s a colour closer to camel. So depends on what you would style it with. I think they both stand out in any way due to the design and unique colour choice:) Try to ask yourself if you buy peach one will you not think about lilac, and vice versa?
