It's no wonder the sounder went faulty putting a steaming kettle upto them!! Steam is moisture and moisture and electric don't generally tend to go well together.
could put that down in the description of how NOT to test your multi-sensors :P. I switched to using a dry heat source (Hairdryer) a good while ago the steam doesn't do anything good, the device itself and the ceiling, this was almost 2 years ago I am not too sure about my reasoning behind using the kettle think it may have been the convenience of it just being there.
If the dining room sounder keeps making its tone ring more than once not hi and lo then that could be a fault with a sound wire that it's connected up to you might want to disable that sounder and check the whole of it out
@@testlogs9005 _Just getting Mummy's cwedit card XD_ *Such a good price!* Uhhh.... Since I'm Ireland and not Scotland, How much is it in *€?* ¯\_༼ᴼل͜ᴼ༽_/
the panel firmware has been updated and that has sorted a few issues. the sounders silence almost immediately. I haven't had any issue with that sounder base ever since. gave the connections an inspection and the wire connecting the piezo element and feedback is ok and not loose there also was nothing to see with the loop wiring all is ok.
If the sounders are broken switch them offline then check the wiring if the wiring is faulty and cannot be fixed then replace it if it's not faulty then do a hard reset on the system to reset the wiring
i dunno what the cause really was, i made a few guesses but aint sure. its not its been recently moved and re terminated due to renovations. haven't had an issue like that since that day.
