Jason i think people like the deep technical aspects of the companies in your episode, this is what we gotten used to and love about S³. I enjoyed this episode more then i thought, Adrian has some cool takes, but yeah he highlights the vision while glossing over the actual tech, which is an oddball in comparison. Keep doing what you do! ❤ Thanks!

This interview better be more technical than just aesthetics

Okay so it's better than I thought, it's not just a box with a Kinect. You can leave your pee and poop sample too, that's pretty helpful at least

@@TheKdcool It's just an initial version. Companies improve through iteration and reinvestment.

30 minutes of rambling because there's not much to say about the product that sounds good. $149 a month to use a box that has features covered by a smart watch and a health tracking phone app. Oh and if their box can't figure out your lab results they reserve the right to send the lab out to an actual doctor and will charge you for that "service". This isn't the future. What a huge amount of money in building this box for almost nothing. I'd rather just get actual health insurance, because this box won't cover you if you've got actual health problems. They need to make the service more valuable to compete with current health care providers.

You don't pay anything beyond the $149 even for the doctor reviews

@@prasannarn946 You should read their website. This is located under "What's included" Any tests sent to an external lab for processing may incur additional costs that will be billed by the lab to your insurance or directly to you if you do not have insurance. Our team will notify you whenever this occurs.

A lot more features than you mention, and modular to allow decades of additions and extra functionality. It's solving a data problem as well. With millions of chronological data profiles for each patient you have an opprotunity for data-driven anomoly detection. It'll know you much better than a doctor can know you, and preventatively ensure your health is in check. The large operations that insurance in its current state might become useful for are becoming more automated day by day. It's an inevitable future that these operations will become products rather than services. You must understand that doctors nor insurance companies are particularly incentivized to keep you healthy and out of the hospital. The product will become more valuable to consumers over time, this is inherent to the product.

Really wish we could have learned more about the product, especially when they have already released it. I'm not seeing the value add of this over at home telehealth and health wearables. It would be great to see some more critical (still friendly) questions about the companies themselves

I wonder how cooperative and proactive different health providers would be in exploring potential interactions that could be handled in this "box of clinics" (my Kleenex homophone pun), or if there is defensiveness or resistance to this approach from the medical community.

Very interesting until the subject of crime and police came up. We assume that everyone is like us and that with the right inputs they just won’t do bad things. What the evidence shows is that tabula rosa is just not valid. It’s a wishful idea. Some people just do not see the world as we do and they will prey on others regardless of the inputs, experiences, or care. There are if course many that can be reached, but there is some percentage that will just gravitate toward predation. This is also evident in the animal world with our nearest relatives primates, but also in many species.

20:10 "The most effective policeman is a street lamp". Heard this quote recently, i like it Adrian's take on the police force is actually pretty solid, demilitarize, invest in people, hope to see this in the future
