I love how Adrian approaches the game, due to a mix of Connors's flat backhand and Rios's spin forehand. He makes them playing so much, a lefty french Murray. Thanks Adrian, keep on going !

I heard that he plays with a full bed of poly in his racquet that he has strung around 24 pounds. You can get incredible amounts of spin with such a setup.

Adrian Mannarino is a weird tennis player,he walks weird,run weird and his forehand is weird,but he's too much imprevisible and a tricky player to play against.

I really like to see Mannarino with his weird forehand and very smart strategy. And he doesn't celebrate every point like a madman, similar to Gasket.

Does anyone know why Mannarino doesn’t really lag all the way? His forehand is so compact all the time. In my opinion it’s what has held him back from going any further. But he does play the technique he has to it’s best even tho it is limiting so it is kind of amazing.

Actually it's not limiting him he had to play that compact forehand. The reason why is because his rackets are usually string around and astonishing 24lbs (not kidding look it up) because of his many injuries and to reduce injury. He learned how to play with the tension and to do it he needs a compact swing for control. This being the case his strikes look effortless and he can be a ruthless player on grass with his shots.

Exactly. He learned how play around his injuries. Some months ago I tried to play with a very low tension. After two weeks I was forced to change the strings - the racket was unplayable, the balls going everywhere.
