@@claudiusconruton2720 As much as Newey has had an impact in the car world with this Valkyrie, Gordon Murray may just be a step above him, as far as total-car development is concerned. While Gordon's car isn't nearly as aerodynamic or performance capable as Newey's design is, it can be argued that no one has had more of a hands-on approach and pure passion behind every single detail of a car's development as he has. Great point!
Totally agree. Lots of sports cars sound whiny and whimsy in low revs and with no throttle applied. But then under full throttle and above 4-5k rpm they sing like nothing else.
@@UguysRnuts well my wife’s Cayman GTS (natural aspirated, no supercharger or turbo charger) also sound shite at low revs, but above 3,500 rpm it’s a symphony.
Didn't watch it all the way to the end, but from what I did see it looks like, from an aerodynamic perspective, it would be able to go faster in the other direction.

It was also a test model for the 2022 F1 car. Mercedes wasted millions getting 2016 F1 technology to work (the Project One) and Newey spent that time instead developing a Ground Effect road car. I shake my head at Mercedes.

Plus, the Valkyrie was born as street legal car, so it has more restrictions (and Aston almost gone in bankrupt because of that car). With the RB17 he had no limit... except for friendship. I understand it is a Tier 1 track missile, but having f*ing mirrors and cameras around would be nice. Don't know why people complain about the looks. That thing looks like XJR15 had a one-night stand with either tuned Lotus Elise or some Pagani (Jag does not remember - he's been quite drunk). It is designed around ground effect, no sane person in s world would use it as daily driver, so what the hell.
I am aware that Adrian is a great F1 car designer but I would of thought that driving a super car without rear vision mirrors would slightly annoy the man.

I can already see that that car is a nightmare to keep clean. That said, if you can afford one, you can also pay one to clean it meticulously after every drive 😁
The RB 17 is not yet a working car, so even the Civic is better than it. It could take up to a few years from the announcement to the finished car, given Aston Martin's problems with the Valkyrie, I'm curious to see how Red Bull, which has never produced anything but F1 cars, will do.
Better looking you mean? I guess that's in the eye of the beholder, but in terms of performance, the RB17 will wreck the Valkyrie! It's a dedicated track car after all.

Will Red Bull provide everyone who buys an RB 17 with a team of engineers and mechanics like Ferrari does for the people who participate in the Ferrari XX Programme? Question : why does someone in a super car not require a front number plate whilst little Jonny in his corsa will get points and a fine ??? I understand the reasons behind two tier policing for mums and dads but didn’t realise it extended to the rich 😂😂😂😂😂😂
