This is my childhood hero, i grew up on him and studied his game threwout his entire career from high school until retirement. This was funny as hell with lynch saying he was the undertaker with AD leg after surgery.
@jacksonhankitins8128 it's crazy he was great and never mentioned....just like another KC RB......Priest Holmes........NOW THATS A NAME FORGOTTEN.....THIS DUDE WAS LT BEFORE.LT....HE HAD THE RECORD...PROBLEM FOR HIM THO WAS LT WASNT FAR BEHIND IN AGE OR N PRODUCTION SO A RECORD THAT WOULD USUALLY STAND FOR MAYBE A DECADE GIVE OR TAKE WAS ONLY A FEW YEARS IF THAT BEFORE LT TOOK IT
Rob you do such a good job bouncing off marshawn and letting him speak. It brings out some cool stories his humble ass might otherwise never share lol. Been here since the real rob report and I’m so damn happy to see y’all together again.
That’s tough bro. 70s had earl campbell OJ and Walter Payton. 80s had Walter, Dickerson, Marcus allen, Tony Dorsett. 90s had TD Barry, Emmett, the bus, Curtis Martin. It’s damn near impossible to pick an era
@@aubhreypender3091 ehhhh naw bro lol I was just naming the top backs from 2007-2015ish but if we’re talking 2000-2010 I don’t think it’s close. 70s and 90s definitely have more nostalgia but from top to bottom, the 2000s is definitely the best
Nah. I remember to this day when I first saw AP run at Oklahoma. First rush and I was looking around trying to figure out where the freshman was.......this nigga looked like T.O. at 17 and was playing with college niggas! For regular niggas, AP was the classes we took to GET to college. Da REAL AP was just born with them credits on his transcript.
RB is the craziest position on the field. Like Mike said, those 11 sets of eyes looking at you… they’re all attached to big ass dudes coming at you like missiles to crush you man. Over and over And over again. ..To willingly do that, and enjoy it, crazy bro! Shawn used to laugh at the bottom of the piles 😬😆
I'm a Duck fan and I'll never forget getting the opportunity to watch both these guys play in Autzen Stadium in college! Couple of the greatest right here!
Love me some AP! He torched my packers for what feels like decade. The reason i like this episode the best though is cuz beast mode is getting into the details about his craft. I loved that 🔥🔥🔥
Man this episode was amazing. Let me just say I loved all of the talk about mindset and the attention to detail it takes to be legendary amongst elites. 1% better everyday.
53:00 when Mike is talking about how Marshawn CREATES the apex of the push is the crux of why he is a generational player. Marshawn’s instincts, power, and intelligence for the game were off the charts. It will be a crime if he is not 1st ballot HoF.
Most SOLID 💯 realest podcast out there right now. No other podcast can compete with this. Not no iamathlete, not no pivot, not no 25/10, not no bussin wit the boys, etc. Nobody do this podcast thing better than Mike Rob and Marshawn 💯
Mayne…. That story/memory was cool 59:30 🏈🩵🤍🩵 Cuz at the end of the day, all things aside, we’re all here because we (coaches, viewers, players, fans, etc.) love the game of football.🤙 I love that Shawn was able to remind and ground himself, even while he was a pro in the league. That’s what’s up!
Despite what AP did outside of football, he is the best RB I have ever seen. May be a biased Vikings fan, he and Beast mode changed the game at the RB position. 2 goats.
Epic . ADs BDawk story . Loved it.I watched that game. My eagles vs Vikings in wildcard 2008 . Famous travaris Jackson hit game. The whole pod really I just smiled the whole way through as you guys talk epic stories. I watched all you guys coming up including real mike Rob report even not being a Seahawks fan. This pod with Mike Rob and beast is genius. The chemistry is effortless ofc mike Rob and beast really seem like brothers and are built the foundation of this pod off real Mike Rob report days and obviously on field play between the pro bowl tandem. My favorite and best pod right now easily! 🔥🔥🐐🐐🐐🏈
I just want to say these guys have the best podcast hands down!! Whenever I tune in I feel like I'm kicking it with my people and we are keeping it 💯. And it's from a player perspective!! To me it's nothing but OG Talk!! Much Love My Brother y'all please keep doing what y'all doing! This is the podcast to watch!!! Great content always!!
i was a jit when AP rushed for 2k after that torn ACL. i was just so astonished what he was doing week in, week out. Btw, yall gotta get CJ2k (Chris Johnson) on here. It’s only right. Love what y’all doing man. Keep it going!
Die hard vikings fan here. AP is my favorite player ever by far watching him was unexplainable you just had to be there. Randy Moss is my second favorite player. I think he is the best WR ever.
This is huge for the culture we would have never thought we would be getting this when they still played but the fact this is done by them and not ESPN is amazing
Love all the episodes of GetGot but this is BY FAR the BEST one to date!❤ Mentality conversation needs to be daily viewing for all of us. You men are giving us gems each and every episode. Love you both like family and have been telling everyone I know to subscribe to your podcast! Best podcast ever!!!!🎉❤
It’s refreshing seeing the backs get the credict they deserve… the King made life easy for Lamar and the lions backs been holding it down #5 is a monster
Man two legends of the 2000s and 2010s who derserve to end their career the right way it’s ashamed how the NFL treat the running backs and Ap and marshawn look like they still can play today
That break down real man! Them chants that energy builder! Yay area sports and our coaches was greasy they instilled that dawg in us make em hear us cuz they gone feel us! Still carry that thru life!
Awesome to get on Seahawks legend Adrian Peterson on this pod! If you could get on fellow Seahawks legends Warren Moon and Jerry Rice that would be great!
