Why would you be a part of Pentecostal Charismatic movement, both are riddled with errors, because they are filled with false teachers and so called apostles and prophets. This is the fact.

He’s not getting Jesus’ physical features from anywhere ma’am- hypothetically speaking-.the Bible never gives a physical description of His saints, servants and even enemies- the main focus is to worship God-🙂😊

@MariaMendivil-hf6zr Then perhaps if Scripture doesn't speak on it, he shouldn't either. You are mistaken in saying there is no mention of Christ's fetures in Scripture. Isaiah 53:2 & 4 2". . .he had no form nor comeliness; and when we saw that he had no beauty, we denied him. ...". "...but we considered him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted." The description given by the pastor could be of the so well known picture touted the world over of the likeness of the portrait of Christ in the 'Last Supper', or the Salvador Mundi painting 500 years after.

No ma’am, it doesn’t- I don’t believe Pastor Rogers made that his whole sermon either- you and I can do this back and forth and get no where- Pastor Rogers was a man of God who loved and served Him until He took Him home, and just as important, we are to do the same- we are to worship God and God alone- not worship some painting or statue or any man made thing depicting Him or what we think He looks like, which as people so easily do- remember Aaron and the golden calf he made in Exodus 32:1-9? We’ve always looked for something or someone to worship and physical features make it easier for a painting or statue to be made- I know people do that but it doesn’t mean it’s right- those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in truth; nothing else- only a true bible believing, Jesus Christ trusting person can truly do that- have a good day ma’am-🙂

@MariaMendivil-hf6zr You just proved my point. If you know what the Bible says you can agree that if it is not there, especially as a pastor is preaching, it should not be part of the sermon. If this is just speculation, then it would have been better to have enunciated or prefaced the comment. It's statements like this that are integrated into a gospel message or a sermon that may cause others to stumble, because of how much value and trust they have in those whose calling it is to shepard and pastor the flock. You seem to be taking offense at what I've pointed out, which is factual, because you appear to hold the pastor in high regard. I revere no man , defend no man over what the Scriptures say or don't say. I called a spade a spade. Humans are not perfect. They misspeak. That does not mean we disregard everything they say. As a believer we are called , as was Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15 to "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a wokman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.. ",

Regarding your comment regarding what I said about what the Bible says about the features, I quoted what the Bible says regarding the appearance of Christ to prove there were NO particular features mentioned. At all. Your addition of mentioning other features does not justify but corroborated what my initial statement was about. If it's not in Scripture, best to leave it out.

Pastor Rogers went to heaven in 2005. But his amazing sermons go on as some of the greatest ever! Worth listening to forever and over and over!

The man who became pastor after Adrian Rogers died is still there. His name is Pastor Steve Gaines.
