Played a formative part of my mid-20's onwards, back in the 80's & 90's. Such an influential producer & live-mix engineer. Cut such a unique path for his own sound - along w/ working on albums/live shows with so many mavericks/oddballs & vastly under-rated singers/musicians from Jamaica. (Bim Sherman - r.i.p.)
Seeing the tackhead sound system with mark Stewart and live mixing from The Man, at the I beam on haight st in San Francisco. A high point. Talking w them and Gary clail at the night break beer bar made it that much better.
Genuinely lovely bloke. Saw the On-U sound just after lockdown and Adrian was very gracious with his time after the gig and a joy to watch on the desk,
