I have a strong feeling that when Marinette starts to lose her feelings to Adrien that will be the start of Adrien loving her More than just a afriend.
I mean I support all ships and am with you but tbh honest luka doesn’t have any charter development or history. Luka was just made to be a random dude that’s nice and everyone especially Marinette. The whole point is about these foolish people liking each other and it’s saying opposite attract

Omgg yess Luka always wants Mari to be happy either if that’s with him or if it’s with Adrian. Ever since they met Luka was with Mari when she needed him, and she could actually talk to him without getting all flustered. And it’s just not fair to her for Adrian to play with her feelings (even if he doesn’t realize it)
I do ship Lukanette and I also ship Adrinette. With that said, I really love Luka and he's such great character and I want Lukanette to happen before adrinette happens. That way, Marinette and Adrien can have a character development so that when they do end up TGT, it's all the more satisfying

In season 4, I hope Marinette and Luka get together, and then Adrien realizes he loves Marinette because he becomes jealous, and when Marinette and Adrien get together,(if they finally do) I hope the writers give Luka another love interest or at least makes him happy in the end. Same with Kagami

It's because Luka is so understanding of Marinette when she's confused about her feelings and lets her take as much time as she needs and he's shown so much kindness and he shows her that he'll be okay with it if Marinette does end up with Adrien cause he knows thats what'll make her happy. Whereas Kagami rushes Adrian to "change target" and be interested in her.

@@lizzyguest6511 Yes and no, Adrien thinks Ladybug and Marinette are a total different person because when Marinette is her Marinette self, she acts clumsy and shy when being with Adrien (just with Adrien, because she is her normal self when she is with her friends), so that’s why Adrien doesn’t know the confident side of Marinette which he gets to know when she is ladybug, and he maybe doesn’t realize she acts that way with him because she likes him, and he really thinks she acts that way with everyone because she is shy. So he actually likes Marinette’s true self, because she is just clumsy when she is around Adrien because she is too nervous around him as I just previously said.
Adrien doesn’t only like the Ladybug side of her, he likes her Ladybug qualities. That’s different. He likes how courageous she is, and how she’s never afraid, etc. Marinette acts different around Adrien, and more shy. It’s not “oh, he only likes one side of her”. Plus, he might still subconsciously like Marinette. He was still jealous in Frozer when Luka and Marinette were ice skating/Luka caught Marinette. He stuttered while saying she was just a friend in that episode, and in season 4 episode Lies, he broke up with Kagami because of Marinettes lucky charm. If that’s not adrienette foreshadowing, idk what is.

I would choose Luka cause I'm awfully insecure about myself and I put myself down a lot and someone like Luka would easily reassure me that I'm needed in this place and world, which kinda also coincides with Marinette's few flaws apart from jealousy. ^-^
Now if adrinette is officially happening, I think Luka will have another love interest, kagami will move away cause her mother thinks it’s safer or sm, and then some miracle happens and adrinette is official ( just a theory)

Here is my problem with that. He does not know how to differentiate his feelings. Now that is not marinette's fault but it still is confusing for him. Remember he has been in isolation for a while now and had no human contact from people his father did not control. Also realistically mari would drop luka any day for adrien.
Plus in my opinion lukanette is not bad but Luka needs to realize he will be the second choice no matter what he does. Marinette may end up dating him like the spoilers show but she also will realize he really is just a friend to her. Honestly, they don't really deserve each other. Plus, i really feel like Luka will turn into a villain soon.
Mari is always the saddest after most of her interactions with Adrien, but is calmer and happier after her interactions with Luka. She wants Adrien, but needs Luka.

Respect what you said but think about it this way. He could still love her for herself even when it comes to getting to know her as a friend and him visiting her as cat noir. As cat noir, ,he was able to learn more about marinette especially during the time in the glaciator episode and times when they were just together chilling. After spending time with her in his hero form he can learn more about her and learn to embrace her true self as well. Plus like in the New York special on the plane he seemed like he wanted to have opportunities to talk to her and sit and get to know her as a person. It was just then when she pushed away and he couldn’t get to do any of that at all. Overall, I think the point is he is trying to get to know her as a person and connect with her deeper as a friend for now or not but has some obstacles in his way.Plus we still have time. At this point to me, it’s just like they’re mainly starting the plot with these two and the whole show. So trust me by then he’ll like her as she is even before he realizes she’s ladybug.

Luka cared, loved and appreciated Mari no matter what she chose and only wanted her to be happy, even if it meant being a rebound just to cheer her up.. It makes me cry, knowing that Luka just wants to put Maris heart at ease and calm her sorrow, but no matter how hard he tries, she'll keep running back to Adrian...
