I love these two together. Even in unlikely situations, God has a way of redeeming us. Israel made mistakes in his first marriage, but now he has another chance to make things right. Adrienne has been in rollercoaster relationships, but now she has found her true love and hopefully she'll one day be used by God. Congratulations to them. I want this to work.

Nobody knows what goes on in a person's relationship. Yes Israel has been married before and has children but that doesn't mean he isn't marriage material. I see they're still trying to push this, huh? Under normal circumstances, I would have been like "aw. this is so cute! They're adorable!" But knowing the back story, this is actually kind of embarrassing and I feel like this might not be all that genuine. And his comment about "really liking" Adrienne is very telling. There are plenty of people out there who I really like, but that doesn't necessarily equate to marriage. That's just weird to me. I feel bad for people who miss all the red flags, but some people are intent on learning the hard the way.

I feel bad for someone who feels the need to judge everyone's marital experiences. And you're saying that I'm not a decent human being because I think it's a bad idea to marry someone who got paid to be a church leader, while himself being an adulterer for many years against his wife of 20 years, even going so far as having not 1 (he legally acknowledged the one child), but going back and having yet another illegitimate child with a mistress and just before his wedding to Adrienne getting sued by this mistress (probably scorned because he gave her the impression he would leave his wife for her, then he turned around and married Adrienne after 6 months) for not paying child support for the illegitimate kids? Mind you, the kids are allegedly 2 and 4 years old. The guy was living a double life for many, many years, basically lying in everyone's face. This wasn't 10 years ago, this was just a few months before he got with Adrienne, but hey, I guess Adrienne is the only one who can transform him into the PERFECT man, and not those two other women (and God knows how many more) he was going back and forth with for all those years. *rolls eyes* Listen: I'm not judging her for marrying the guy. I'm judging her for marrying him so quickly after his scandalous behavior was revealed. I personally wouldn't have bothered with the guy.period. But any woman with a shred of common sense would wait longer than 6 months before tying the knot with someone who's been a known deceiver for so many YEARS, even as recent as 2 years ago. My opinion is what it is. I just like to apply common sense to certain things and not just wishful thinking, hoping everything will turn out the way I want it to. You wouldn't leave a registered sex offender around your children because "everyone deserves a second chance," would you? Why? because the past sometimes helps you predict the future. When Israel said “the second time around” you see Adriennes face get really sour. I don’t think she really understands that she isn’t Israel’s first and there’s a good chance she won’t be his last either. Israel had a whole life, marriage (for years), a whole bunch of kids etc Adrienne is experiencing this for the first time and I think she struggles with that. You can tell she’s trying really hard to play mum and do things over the top and better. She’s said before that she is aware of ex partners and consciously tries to be better than them

you guys...its the fact that we get Adrienne is happy but after watching her for over a decade and going through this several times.....its beginning to seem as though shes just a hopeless romantic who could fall in love with anybody. Israel is a messy man. He cheated on his wife for 5 years during their 20 year marriage and now is being sued for child support. I would understand if this is the happiest shes been...but ive seen her "head over heels" for every guy shes been with so far. adrienne may think its normal to fall in love this many times but its not. i agree with Tamera that you shouldnt just date to date at a certain point in time but if you're in a long relationship in every relationship you're in....how are you going to differentiate between the one ....or just another thing of the past?
